[COMPOSITION OF THE GITE]
Ground floor of 135m² composed of a living room with large corner sofa, television, American pool table, living room with large dining table, fully equipped kitchen, a master suite with 160x200cm double bed, open shower and vanity unit on the bedroom and television. Independent toilets. Large bathroom for pleasant moments of relaxation thanks to the spa bath (chromatherapy), shower, large vanity unit and towel dryer.
Upstairs: games area on the mezzanine, second mezzanine overlooking the living room (seat convertible into 2 beds of 90x190cm on request), a bedroom with 2 beds of 90x190cm (or 180x190cm depending on request) overlooking the kitchen. Troglodytes are unusual habitats. The walls and ceilings are made of natural rocks coated with lime.... and by definition irregular! At the lowest, the ceilings of the mezzanines are 1.50m and the height of the upstairs doors is 1.50m.
Outside, admire all the particularity of the tuffeau hillside. The garden, planted with trees and equipped to offer you a soothing setting: garden furniture, relaxation lounge, sun lounger, parasol, barbecue. A small tuffeau cave is left freely accessible to allow you to admire the rock in its natural state... or to store your bikes!
[THINGS TO DO NEARBY]: The cottage is located between Angers and Saumur, an ideal base for visiting Anjou! Saumur 10 minutes away with its castle, the Cadre Noir, the Musée des Blindés, the Loire, the cellars of the great wines of Saumur. Doué-La-Fontaine also 10 minutes away: the Bioparc, town of roses with many specialties based on this flower, visiting sites around the history of troglodytes: Troglodytes and Sarcophagi, Le Mystère des Faluns, the troglodyte village of Louresse-Rochemenier. Also worth seeing, the impressive Château de Brézé 10 minutes away, the Château de Montreuil-Bellay 15 minutes away, the unmissable Fontevraud Abbey 25 minutes away. You will be 50 minutes from Angers or Chinon, and 1 hour from Tours and Cholet.
