Very comfortable for us and dog friendly

Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much.

Great hidden treat just off the Loire

We stayed for one night and made good use of the facilities, including the pool. The setting was great and the central gardens were very picturesque. The restaurant was closed for dinner, which we had been notified of in advance. But the breakfast was great. And reasonable.

Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride. However, on reflection, we were granted a table. Food was superb, facilities were great, once the initial restaurant hurdle was over, we found the staff friendly and helpful.

The first night we stayed we would award top marks, but on or return 4 days later the second room was not as good. It was not as clean, the shower screen support was loose, the tv was hanging and not working properly. The furniture on the terrace was very dirty, we cleaned it before we could sit down. We were served a meal in our room, but thought that the dirty dishes would be removed, but they remained until we signed out

The hotel is located in the countryside about 1/2 hour by car from the center of Angers. Everything is very nice as one would expect from a hotel with this rating. There are two observations, that lead to the subtraction of 1 star in the overall rating. 1st: We were there to attend a large wedding party, that lasted into the morning hours. It would have been a nice gesture on part of the hotel, if the usual breakfast time of 8 to 10 had been extended by 1 or 2 hours on the morning after the party. This would have given the many guests that stayed overnight a chance to get a good night's sleep. 2nd: The refrigerator in our room was stocked with 2 bottles of Evian water only. I would have expected a choice of beers or wine together with a choice of waters and a welcome gesture such as a chocolate or a fruit basket.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel de charme

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au sein de ce bel établissement atypique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. La terrasse est vraiment un plus. L'équipe est aux petits soins et souriante. Un grand merci au maître nageur pour son sourire, sa bonne humeur et ses conseils.

Excellent week-end reposant loin du stress

Séjour en couple pour prendre du temps pour nous après quelques semaines intenses: nous avons passé un excellent week-end bien reposant! Massage au Spa, salle de fitness, restaurant d'excellent standing avec un très bon rapport qualité-prix, chambre très agréable, domaine très calme et reposant, petit déjeuner très bien fourni et diversifié avec des produits de qualité, personnel très agréable que ce soit à la réception ou au restaurant, tout était parfait! Enfin pas tout à fait car la météo n'était pas avec nous, nous venions pour faire du vélo sur la Loire à vélo mais à cause de la pluie (ou grâce à la pluie) nous nous sommes rabattus sur des visites de châteaux (Brissac et le Plessis Bourré), il y a ce qu'il faut tout autour, y compris des caves à visiter et des vins à goûter. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr et certain!

Hôtel très accueillant

Établissement où j'ai eu la chance de faire plusieurs réservations, à chaque fois. Cela fut un plaisir. L'accueil est chaleureux et de qualité. Bravo pour l'augmentation de la température de la piscine. C'était vraiment confortable ! C'est vraiment un très bel endroit à découvrir.
