Mountain chalet

Stunning 70-square-meter semi-detached chalet for rent in summer and winter (the 30-square-meter studio on the first floor, accommodating 2–4 people, is also available for rent upon request) Located at the entrance to the village, a 2-minute walk from the center, close to the ski lifts (also open in the summer for biking), as well as the Pontet Recreation Park for summer activities, featuring a variety of outdoor pursuits. Access to the ski area is via a shuttle bus that stops right outside the chalet or a 5-minute drive away. Facing east, the chalet was built in 2021 using traditional materials typical of Haute-Savoie.
It comfortably sleeps 8; there is space for 3 additional guests using the living room sofas.
One outdoor parking space is available; otherwise, free parking is nearby.

The chalet includes: 1 shared entryway with the ground-floor studio, a living/dining room seating 8–10 people with a large west-facing terrace, a fully equipped open kitchen with all appliances, 2 bedrooms (1 north/west-facing bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 pull-out bed. The other bedroom faces west and features a double bunk bed, accommodating a total of 3 people), 1 sleeping area with a bunk bed for 2 people, 1 sofa bed, 1 bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and a separate toilet.
The chalet is fully equipped: TV in every room, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave and electric oven, induction cooktop, refrigerator with freezer, raclette machine, fondue set, and kitchen utensils. Everything was fully refurbished with brand-new appliances in late 2021.

RATES:
Rates vary depending on the season (winter or summer) and whether it falls during school breaks. As a general price range: between €700 and €1,500 per week. The rental price includes water, electricity, and heating. However, you’ll need to bring your own linens (sheets, towels, dish towels, and tablecloths) and clean the property at the end of your stay. A cleaning and linens service is available for an additional fee. A representative will be on-site to welcome you upon arrival and hand over the keys.

THE VILLAGE, ACTIVITIES, AND SERVICES:
Les Contamines is a very pretty place in winter, spring, and summer, thanks to its winter Nordic park, which transforms into a recreational park in summer and also offers swimming. Surrounded by small hamlets, the town has managed to preserve its Savoyard charm while meeting the expectations of high-quality sports and cultural tourism suitable for all ages. Located on the Tour du Mont Blanc hiking trail and at the entrance to its Nature Reserve, the Contamines Valley offers, on both sides of the valley, numerous opportunities for wonderful hikes of all difficulty levels, as well as mid- and high-mountain hikes.
Free shuttle buses depart from the foot of the chalet, taking you in 5 minutes to the cable cars that provide access to the vast ski areas of Mont-Joly, Hauteluce, and Roselette at over 2,500 meters in elevation, as well as, in the valley, the cross-country skiing and snowshoeing areas at Pontet and Notre-Dame de la Gorge. Ice rink, Les Loyers playground. Numerous grocery stores, delis, restaurants, sports shops, newsstand, bank, post office, daycare, pharmacy, and medical center. Tourist Office, French Ski School, and Guide Office (daily nature excursions).
