"Beautiful spot for a safe, quiet stay. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. The room is comfortable, our bathroom was a bit too small. Some essentials were not in the room as described at the time of booking. The views are stunning. The hotel makes a pleasant stay with a good breakfast. "

"The owner/manager (George) went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The suite was immaculate and it was better than the pictures. It was clean and huge!!! The price for the quality should be higher. (Not that anyone wants to pay more but it’s worth it) It’s convenient to a local bakery and a few super markets. You can walk down to the town where there are many restaurants and you’re on the water. (The restaurants are on the water not the hotel but it’s very close) There is a port that you can book excursions or if you have a car you’re 20 minutes away from another port. Location was excellent. The price was excellent. The staff was excellent. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. George also gave us a few suggestions for beaches and food and they were excellent. Thank you so much. Our stay was too short!! 4 nights wasn’t enough. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. "

"Whatever it is that you have been choking on, Mandragoras will have you breathing again! This concept hotel has so much soul that even the pictures you are staring at now – dumbfounded, hardly believing your luck – are going to fade the minute you set your foot in it. The best holiday ever, and a lot of it had to do with how we have been treated, the fabulous advice we have been given, the cordial talks we have had after long days of exploring. We were welcomed like family and when the time came to leave we parted like best friends. Subtle yet simple, this is an unlikely place for the posh crowd, rather this is the place for unassuming travelers, who take genuine interest in everything local. It is the place for those who value true down-to-earth luxury with no hint of opulence and appreciate how remarkably affordable it can be. And we loved the architecture! Rarely you find such respect for the environment, such consideration for guests' privacy, such clever landscaping and functional layout that will keep you marveling day-in day-out, is this genius or what? The location is convenient and quiet, off the busy road but very close to main routes, a short walk to Nydri town and KTEL bus stop. The views in Lefkada are truly exquisite, you are so spoilt for choice that even your postcard view from the terrace will seemingly become all too ordinary over the course of your stay. But make no mistake, it will still haunt you long after you are back! Κώστας, ευχαριστώ!"

"The hotel is in the best location in the middle of Lefkada city around shops and restaurants and the marina. Big negative point that you are unable to access the hotel with any car, or park there , and you must walk to reach it from a public - usually full- parking. Service is above and beyond, the ladies ate all there to help and please. Very nice experience would ho back."

"Booked last minute and had a very pleasant stay. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Had a couple of drinks by the pool which looked very clean but didn’t use as it was raining. Food available but we ate out as there are a couple of tavernas within walking distance. Breakfast was nice with good selection of food and coffees. "
