"This property is in an old curved ceiling of a larger building. It has been totally redone using the best of what the building had. "Location couldn’t be better, very tidy and spacious accommodation although there was a strong and overwhelming scent used and had to open all the windows. Service wasn’t friendly and was not courteous. My husband was trying to find parking which is difficult in this location and after letting me in, host went up the stairs and didn’t even offer to assist with my heavy bags... Guess I was disappointed as many other B&B hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome."

"By far one of the most unorganized hotel i have ever tried. Reception hardly ever there and when someone comes, can't help much. Furniture old and uncomfortable, sheets and towels hardly every changed. One day the person who clean the room, left the room with our door wide open fir anyone to get in and left his or her key in our door. So safety is zero."

"The Patria Palace hotel is excellent in so many ways - central location ( in front of Santa Croce), high quality hotel room and delicious breakfast. But most of all, it is the staff of the hotel who made our stay so memorable. It exhibits old school charms (like hotels in an Agatha Chistie novel) where every staff greets u warmly from front desk, concierge and dining room. A big shout out to Mr Francesco from front desk and Irene who serves us breakfast. It was the best stay of our 2-week holiday in Italy. Bravo!"
