The Lofty Lodge was the perfect place for our annual motorcycle trip. It is located in the heart of Bourbon country with 60 distilleries all wishing a 1 - 1/2 hour ride away. For the property, the add pictures don’t do justice on how big and nice the accommodations are. The outside silo bar was perfect for evenings around the fire and the Great Room inside for a rainy days, which we experienced. The owner’s Adam and Malynda were extremely accommodating and available on demand as needed. The house even came with bonus chocolate lab “Drake” who came to visit regularly and was a hit for the whole group. We were extremely happy with this VRBO property and would love to come back again.

I was celebrating a milestone birthday with friends and this property was perfect. The hosts were super accommodating and very responsive to questions. The property was beautiful inside and out. One item to note, the kitchen is on the bottom level and common space, bar area, dining table, and bedrooms are up one level. There is a full bathroom right off the kitchen, otherwise, the other 2 full bathrooms are upstairs. Our group felt the property was nicer than the pictures show. Bonus, there is a great outdoor space and fire-pit which was great to hang around. We had a fun time and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Final note, many of the local distilleries were about 20-30 minutes away, making this a convenient and overall perfect spot!

The lodge was an incredible place to spend a weekend with a group of friends. Everything was seamless. We were able to set up all the TVs without any issues, and there was plenty of firewood available for us to enjoy our time outdoors. One of the highlights was the driver they arranged for our bourbon trail day. He was fantastic and made the experience even better by ensuring we visited every distillery we wanted along with some others he recommended. On the way back, he even stopped at a few local liquor stores for us to explore, which was a great added touch.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would definitely choose this place again!

Very spacious and clean. The property is more of a hunters lodge, but worked out perfect for our needs as we were touring the Bourbon Trail, and it is centrally located on the trail.
