Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad

We checked in after an exhausting day and were looking forward to getting some rest. When we first entered the room, there was an odd smell, which we initially attributed to the air conditioning being off and the room having been closed up. We turned on the AC and left for about two hours, expecting the room to be comfortable when we returned. Instead, it had only cooled to 74 degrees. We called the front desk and were told to raise the temperature setting, which didn’t make much sense and, unsurprisingly, didn’t solve the problem. Even after running all night, the room only cooled to 72 degrees. The room itself was attractive, but that really doesn’t matter when you can’t be comfortable in it. After a long, exhausting day, a cool, comfortable room and a good night’s sleep are basic expectations from a hotel. Unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience.

We had a great time at the Rally! Best staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel, they really took care of every detail and clearly wanted us to have the best experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing team. Amazing building and amenities. My wife and I absolutely loved the building, the options for coffee, food, and the professional options for working and coworking. My only knock is maintenance… the shower knob fell off and bruised my toe 😅. And the office chair was broken but everything was rectified quickly!
