"A great family run hotel right in town. Great location to walk everywhere. Room was great. We did not have breakfast there. We came from Paris for an overnight trip and planned on taking the bus for 2 euro, however there were no buses running and we had a hard time finding a taxi to drive us a half hour to the hotel. It was an unexpected $100 to get there. Not their fault at all. Just check with hotel - not just the bus website before booking. They arranged a driver back to the train. Again another $80-100 dollars. I would recommend this hotel !"

"The hotel is located just a few steps from the beach which was great. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good and the room was clean and comfortable. Many restaurants around the area and hotel has its own restaurant too. "

"This is a lovely little apartment! It was exactly as advertised. Francoise was available for any questions; and even though we had a language barrier, we understood one another just fine. She let us know about the local market day. The home had everything the two of us needed and I wouldn't hesitate to encourage others to stay here. "

"The house provided a marvelous place to stay. Étretat it’s a nice, small community on the coast. The house is away from the main part of town, up a small hill. You should be ready for a hike on your way back from town if you walk.The property appeared to us in the listing as a recently updated house. What we found was acquaint, older property. There are three floors, with the living area, kitchen and laundryon the first floor, main bedroom and bathroom on the second floor, and two bedrooms and a bath on the third floor. We primarily used the first and second floors and would’ve found regular climbing of stairs to be a chore after a while.What we didn’t know was that Etretat is a Mecca for French tourists, particularly at holiday time. We arrived on Friday of a four-day weekend and found hundreds of cars and thousands of tourists. The weather, the next day was rainy and so we encountered far fewer people in town. By Monday, it felt like we had it to ourselves. With better planning, we could have avoided the crush."

"We spent a week in this comfortable, well appointed cottage. The location was superb with many footpaths to explore right from the front door. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us lots of suggestions of places to visit nearby. We hope to return in the future. "
