"The owner was super friendly and accommodated an early check-in asy room was ready. Breakfast was good with a better selection than similar hotels. The room had air conditioning which I appreciated. " Monique is a superb host and very helpful. The property has everything you could need in a small apartment. Everything was clean. "This was a two night stopover to allow us to ride around the Cantel region and, in particular, the rim of the volcano (long since gone). The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is. It is little surprise that the hotel is used by tradesmen and appears to be full all the time. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend."

"Love this place and the house but the beds are too firm. If the beds were softer then it would be a solid 10/10 the pool hasn’t been available when we have been in April and October. Hot tub is in property next door and needs to be booked in advance at an extra 95. Nearest shop is 20 mins drive. But fantastic house, area and amenities. Merci beaucoup Valerie eat Jackques"

Delightful holiday

"A lovely, rustic gite, clean, tidy, comfortable and well equipped. Nicely isolated but only 10 minutes from Argentat-sur-Dordogne, with its shops and bars. The private pool was excellent and the patio was a lovely space to relax in the warm evenings."
