Caves, abbeys, remarkable gardens, art cities and historic towns such as Sarlat or Périgueux await you here. You can also take a canoe trip along the Dordogne, visit one of the popular markets, go on a bike tour and enjoy a cosy picnic, go horse riding or visit prehistoric parks and villages. This region also offers highlights of French gastronomy such as foie gras, truffles, wines from Bergerac, walnuts and porcini mushrooms.
