Half of the building is over the bay, so walking up to the rail you're guaranteed to see unique birds and small fish...possibly a crocodile or a stingray. This resort provides an authentic "forest" experience while at the same time making sure all one's needs are taken care of. Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer.
