We loved the property's location across from Godafoss waterfall. We found that our room was located in a small building next to the main building. The room and bath were rather small and the beds were a bit hard. It had a charm to it but not the most comfortable stay we have had here in Iceland.

Great location, across the street is Godafoss, and then you can be there in the early morning or evening and see it without many tourists. The hotel is nice, we were in the separate building; all clean, and spacious, not modern, but functional. The breakfast is excellent.

Amazing property, staff, and food facing the Godafoss waterfall. Couldn’t ask for a better location. You can have the falls all to yourself early morning or late evening.

Super nice room. The bathroom was super small. The sink is probably of the same size as an airplane. We loved the little patio and walking distance to the waterfall. Breakfast was super nice, especially the coffee machine. You pay $3000 isk plus 7.5% service fee ($25 usd) for breakfast per person.

We were in the yellow side building. Our room was very small. The bathroom was tiny and had the smallest sink I have ever seen in my life- slightly larger than my hand- hard to wash your face. Hotel is right across from Godafoss waterfall- not in the town area of Laugar. Paid extra for breakfast and it was very nice- even had a choose your own espresso machine. Dated decor. Shower very slippery but so small chances are good you won’t fall.

Absolutely loved our stay at Godafoss hotel! The rooms were clean, perfect, and up to date! Had a cute view of the garden. The food was also so perfect. It tasted like a home cooked meal and was so fresh! And of course the super quick walk to the falls were a plus! Thank you Godafoss Hotel!

Put in outside cabin - can only say it was like I remember the Butlins chalets were like in England 50 years ago! Staff did not have red coats and were very polite.

There was a super friendly staff that specifically stood out. His name is Arthur I believe? I could be misspelling his name but it sounded like Arthur. He helped us by providing a few recommendations and suggestions during our stay and was very friendly.
