You'll be able to take in a lovely view of the water from your own private 10-foot-by-10-foot deck or from the bedroom set up for comfort. You'll be just isolated enough to enjoy the tranquility but close enough to easily enjoy the comforts of town. The open concept living room merges perfectly with the kitchen area, which features smaller appliances to keep everything simple. Best of all, guests can enjoy beach access just an easy walk or drive from this high-bank waterfront cottage.

While this home is waterfront, it does sit up on a bank. The nearest beach access is a quarter mile west at the Baby Island Beach Club. The village of Langley is just seven miles away. Guests can enjoy several winery tours on the island, with Whidbey Island Vineyard & Winery and Ott & Hunter both within nine miles of the cottage.

Relaxing Getaway

Nice cost place with great location

We love baby island on Whedbey and this place is a great location for it. It is a small cozy place with all the necessary amenities. Very clean and well decorated.

The house was just as pictured, very comfortable. Quiet area, wonderful outdoor deck looking out at Saratoga Passage. Visited Greenbank, Holmes Winery. Highly recommend this spot for relaxing Whidbey Island visit.

Lovely, cute place to do some R&R and admire the beautiful views. The downtown was very nice. Only thing I was surprised about was how early almost ALL the restaurants close 7pm to 8pm, unfortunately.

Perfect little get away

The location of this property is one of the best i have stayed at, very clean, it has everything you need, hangers, iron, steamer, etc.. you have the option to walk down to the beach (5 min walk) and see the beaches and what the island has to offer, the neighborhood is stunning and neighbors are very friendly! I look forward to staying here again when i come back to Whidbey island!

Cabin get away

This was a great location and Langley is only about a 15 minute drive away. It was nice to open the blinds in the morning and gaze at the view of the water and neighboring island. It was very quiet and tranquil!

It was indeed a cozy cottage for a relaxing getaway for a couple. Clean, well-stocked and lovely decor. The view was gorgeous. A propane grill on the deck would have been a nice addition.

Cozy cottage

This was a nice, cozy place to stay while on the island. Shops, groceries, restaurants are 10-15 min away. Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view. Very close to owner’s home, so doesn’t feel completely private when outside.

Beautiful grounds. The cottage itself is cute. The stovetop is a portable 1 burner electric glass top stove. Though easy to use, 1 burner is limiting. The oven was a portable small convection oven the size of a small microwave. The mattress needs to be replaced.

Weekend Getaway

I booked this cottage for me and my partner for my birthday getaway trip to Whidbey island. The property is absolutely stunning and well kept. There are amazing views of the water, other island, and the mountains right from the bedroom window! The place was peaceful, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The walk to the private because nearby was also amazing! We felt very cozy and relaxed in this cottage and would love to come back in the future!

Beautiful and peaceful space

Best night's sleep i've had in a long time! The bed was super comfortable. It was quiet, and has a spectacular view. The hot water is immediate and plentiful and there’s great water pressure. Fabulous new tea, kettle, and the perfect size refrigerator/ freezer for my needs. Lovely walk to the beach. I would absolutely live here if I could!

Nice and cozy

Really enjoyed the view from the yard. You can see right over the edge to the water. All heaters work well and kept us very toasty. We did lose power due to the windstorm and the generator stopped working. Skylight is great for star viewing indoors when it's chilly. It is quite close to the people who own the next cabin, so at times I felt I was intruding their space but no one seemed to mind. All in all I'd stay there again.

Whidbey Cottage near Lanley

Really nice cottage. Great location. Quiet. Langley is fun. Would go go back, but: I booked with VRBO, then got handed off to Vacasa as the property manager. Way more hoops to go through than any other VRBO booking I've done. They were responsive, but demanding. Maybe good for the owner, a pain for me. Next time I book with VRBO and get handed to Vacasa I will cancel. The cottage is really nice.

Peaceful but recommend new cleaning service

Charming cabin/cottage, peaceful, slightly more rustic than I expected but still nice. FYI cell service with ATT is poor. Cleaning service —there were hairs on the clean towels, fridge freezer needs a defrost, and a dried drink spill on the side table by the couch. Per email checkout instructions I took bed sheets off to help cleaning crew but then saw that mattress had hair on it. Improve the cleaning service and the place is a recommend for a rustic peaceful getaway

Cozy for sure!

I enjoyed my two night stay at the cottage. The location was great, not to far from town. As someone else mentioned the owner does live right next door but this was not an issue. The overall feel of the cottage was warm and cozy! It was rather chilly on my arrival date, the owners had the heat on so when I arrived I wouldn’t be freezing. This was just one of many personal touches offered by the owners. The place was immaculate, you can tell the owners take pride in offering a clean and cozy place for people to stay. Lastly the views of the sound from the cottage are amazing! I am already planning my next visit.

Beautiful view

We arrived after 12 hours of travel and there was no soap or shampoo of any kind to take a shower. We tried to contact mgmt but their software is so limited, that we had to write to Vacasa via email and they didn't seem to be able to receive the full email, so they couldn't resolve anything, despite it being a very small issue. Ours was only a 2-day stay and we had a packed schedule, so we found it disappointing to have to go find instant coffee, water, and shampoo just to start our day, which resulted in taking a later ferry to Port Townsend. It would have been nice to have a warmer welcome. The place was cute and the view beautiful. We will not return here in the future, however.
