Our home has 2 bedrooms, each with a King Bed, dresser, and space to hang your clothes.
Our lower level living room also has a Queen size Pull-Out sofa making plenty of room for sleeping 5 guests.
PARKING at Stargazer: There is enough parking for 2 cars.
Local Restaurants, Supermarket, Coffee Shops, Donut Shop, Gas, etc - 13 minutes
Dogwood Canyon Nature Park-15 minutes
Silver Dollar City - 30 minutes
Baxter Marina - 10 minutes
GUEST ACCESS:
After getting off Missouri Highway H onto Black Oak Resort Ln, the road to Stargazer is a beautiful, scenic, and winding road. The way is completely paved, but slow down and take your time as you make your way to our scenic location.
Guests will need to climb two stories of stairs to reach the breathtaking view that leads to our front door. If your have difficulties with stairs you may want to seek out other accommodations.
Check-in is a breeze with the 4-digit code we will provide.
Guests will have access to the entire property, including the private hot tub, fire pit, game room, and laundry room.
PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:
■ HOT TUB - Absolutely NO GLASS or food near the hot tub. NO BUBBLES, NO SALTS OR OILS can be added to the hot tub. You must shower first and wear a swimsuit (not clothes) in the hot tub. The hot tub is professionally serviced twice a week. Just let us know if it needs to be served during your stay.
■ AGE - All guests must be 25+ with the exception of children with their parents.
■ OCCUPANCY - Maximum 5 Persons. If you bring more people than accounted for on your reservation, you will be asked to leave without a refund.
■ SECURITY CAMERA - Security cameras on the front porch are in place for your protection. You will be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund if you touch or tamper with the cameras. This is for your protection.
■ NO SMOKING - This is a NON-SMOKING/VAPING cabin.
■ UNCONTROLLABLE SITUATION - No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage if this is a concern.
■ PETS - Pets are NOT allowed. We love pets. However, some of our family members and guests are very allergic to pet dander. Please be considerate and make alternate vacation arrangements for your furry family members. Many pet-friendly cabins in the area would love to host your family.
■ CHECK-IN/OUT - Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. We do not offer early check-ins or late check-outs.
■ CRITTERS - We have the cabin on a regular pest control schedule to help minimize the possibility of insects and critters. However, this is a lake area and some insects are unavoidable. You can occasionally expect to see critters (bugs, ants, spiders, bats etc.) in or around the cabin. If this is a concern for you, a place further from the water may be a better fit for you. Please help us by keeping the floors swept, sweets in the fridge, and trash cleaned up.
