"Very convenient location, lots of walkable shops and grocery stores, winter and summer sports equipment rental shops, right in front of the Lake Tahoe, great view, the hotel has a dry sauna, outdoor firepits, which adds ambience. What I didn't like: since we were at the first floor, we can hear guests above our room walking or dropping things, it was little bit loud, the walls are not soundproof enough, even in the morning you can hear guests walking on hallways, and it was loud. "

"I stayed at PlumpJack inn for a wedding I was attending down the road. I stayed for one night. My check in time was very close to the time that the wedding ceremony started, so I was a bit nervous that I was going to be scrambling and possibly late to the ceremony. I arrived in the late morning to PlumpJack and asked reception if there was any way I could check in earlier. They said they would call me if they were able to get another room made up/cleaned before my reservation check in. I was more than satisfied by the staffs' kindness and ability to make swaps/changes to get me into my room a bit earlier, on a weekend that was very busy for the hotel nonetheless. The staff was beyond kind, caring and accommodating to our needs. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Olympic Village! "
