Disappointing experience: bed bugs & drainage issues
Unfortunately, my recent stay at this property (yellow house) was far from satisfactory. Check in process was easy and hassle free, the house has all amenities listed on the site. The day after our arrival, we woke up with red, big bumps on our arms and legs, a couple of days later we discovered that the bedrooms were infested with bed bugs, which made for an incredibly uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. We reported this concern to the host and two days later someone showed up to spray the bedrooms. However, that wasn’t enough, we continued finding bed bugs and getting bitten.
Additionally, the drainage system in the house was severely clogged, causing water to accumulate in the shower and sink. This not only made it challenging to use these daily necessaries but also raised concerns about hygiene and sanitation. This issue was never resolved despite the reporting it to the host.
While the location of the property was convenient and the amenities were adequate, the presence of bed bugs and the drainage problems significantly detracted from the overall quality of our stay. We had expected better maintenance and prompt resolution of such issues, especially considering the rental price.
