I visited Hollys place with my sheep dog. They were extremely accommodating and welcoming. The room was comfortable and the yard was great for her to run and play. Dogs are allowed in the lounge area, which made it nice to hang out This is a wonderful place to stay-well located and especially good if you are traveling with a dog.

This was my first time at Holly‘s place, and I couldn’t have expected anything better!! We stayed in the Tisher cabin and it was the perfect size for me and my partner. Everything was gated so it made it perfect for dogs and children. The manager Corie was super sweet and very welcoming. Don’t forget to checkout their Rec Room, it’s so cozy and cute in there. We will definitely be back very soon!

This place is the best! It's very clean and comfortable. It's super close to everything. Corie was ready to help as soon as we got there. She called me back within seconds. Definitely will be returning to this place!

Holly’s Place was a super great place to stay! The staff members were extremely friendly and welcoming! Our dogs had an amazing time running around and playing with all the toys! The cabin was clean and cozy, the stove was an added bonus. We’ll be back for sure 😃 loved it!

When I rented this place, I thought each room was completely separate, but the walls between the rooms are very thin, so you can easily hear people in the room next door. The bed was also very noisy—I had to put the mattress on the floor to be able to sleep. There are very few photos of the property, and it really wasn’t what I was expecting. On the positive side, the place was very clean.

Great Location!

The Wolf Den studio worked well for us and we were impressed, though our terriers weren’t with us, at the accommodations for dogs. Holly’s Place is a nice quiet venue tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of S Lake Tahoe tourist. It was within walking distance to the Lake which was convenient. It was a lovely stay.

Very hands-off accomodations experience with good and clear communications prior to checking in. Not fancy, but had everything we could have wanted and was clean and comfortable. I will definitely look to book a cabin at Holly's Place the next time that I go to South Lake Tahoe.

This is a place for families or individuals who own dogs. Although we had used all the amenities, we only had 1 bathroom shared for a family of 5. Shower has no power and can't fit a tall person. Toeliet needs to be modernized to fit adults not just children. Overall a great place for dog owners not so much for a large family. The owner and care taker were really nice and will help with whatever you need.

Great hidden gem in SLT

Hidden gem in SLT. You can tell this place is well maintained and loved. Dog friendly and made you feel like you were in a rustic cabin in the woods instead of steps from all things SLT. My wife, me, and the dog felt extremely comfortable and had plenty of space to roam around between the fire pit, rec room, and ample ground for the dog to explore! Would come back in a heartbeat.

Peaceful get away

We stayed two nights at Holly's Place. The grounds were lovely. Our room was comfortable. It felt like we were camping. We were able to interact with the other guests in the common areas, which included a kitchen/rec room and we had a campfire our last night there. It was peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We were able to cook our own food. We would highly recommend this hotel

Very Comfortable

The Bear's Den was a very cozy space to relax for a few days in the snow. It was exactly what we were looking for! Holly and staff were lovely. I only wish I had brought my dog, she would have loved this place!

Close to the Lake & Dog friendly

Overall great stay, would stay again. We rented the main cabin Tall Pines, it is the owners cabin which gave it a very homie feel. We loved that the dogs were welcome to play off leash on the gated property. The cabin is only 2 short blocks to the Lake. The only time that employees are on the property is to check you in and check you out, otherwise the place is pretty much help yourself to anything in the large rec room (we didn't mind this at all) We also made friends with the other guest and their fur babies. Only issues I had is I made the mistake of only booking for 3 people to stay in the 6 person cabin, upon checking in the manager Lynn wanted to charge me for my daughters friend that came with us - a last minute decision ( so book the maximum amount of people just in case you might have an extra person tagging along), also on Expedia it states that housekeeping is $20 and for the large cabin it is $75. The only other issue was the power went out in the master bedroom at 2 am and the space heater was much needed in 7 degree weather after a quick phone call we were able to find a the breaker and restore power.
