Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the condo at the Marriott Grand Residence Club. The condo is very modern, clean, spacious and well equipped. We used the kitchen for breakfasts, used both of the big screen TVs and both fireplaces as well. The location is great near many restaurants, shopping, groceries, and the Heavenly gondola.
The only negative was the check-in process and front desk. When we arrived they did not have our reservation and we waited abt 30 mins for them to figure it out....it wasn't under my name..it was under the owners name. Luckily I had communicated with her in advance and knew her name or they would not have found our reservation at all because they had no record of me by my name. Then, for the rest of the stay they called us by her name anytime we used the desk or the valet service. Also someone called for me to the front desk and they told him there is nobody here by that name as a result. Not a bid deal in the end, but very scary showing up and not having a reservation. Also, could not use my Marriott Rewards number here...presumably already used by the owner for this stay.
