Every detail was considered at Lake Placid Stagecoach. Our suite was perfect, comfortable, spacious yet cozy. Kelly and team thought of everything. Also, the service, food and cocktails at the restaurant was so so good. Make sure to make reservations to secure your spot for a great dinner experience!

We spent several days in November at the Stagecoach Inn and it was wonderful! It was beautifully decorated, it smelled fantastic, the breakfasts were beautiful and delicious and our hostess was fantastic. She was warm, friendly, helpful and a wonderful ambassador for both the Inn and the town. We loved our stay and cannot wait to go back!

This team at the Stagecoach Inn are amazing! The chef is incredible! The service is fabulous! The free breakfast is delicious! The bartender is very knowledgeable and the whole team seem to enjoy what they do. They all work well together.

This is truly the diamond in the rough, what a find! We stayed in the Jenny suite and it was charming. We ate dinner in the main room and it was five star all the way this place is a culinary gemstone! Make sure you make a reservation early as the dining room fills up quickly. We will definitely be back to the stagecoach on our next trip to lake placid.

Charming Inn

Very interesting building with a lot of charm. Not our typical style of accommodations, but wanted to give it a try. Breakfast was included & fantastic, was a light breakfast (coffee/tea +juice, yoghurt parfait + muffins, and a breakfast salad - all very good). They have a small bar which was cute for pre-dinner cocktails. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice, but quite warm - did cool down at night. I'm assuming would be quite hot in the mid summer months with (seemingly) no A/C. Bed was very comfortable. Location is a bit removed, which is nice to relax. About a 10 minute drive to the Main Street, shops + restaurants/bars. Parking was ample. Overall great trip,

Simply Wonderful!

We had a fabulous stay at The Stagecoach Inn in Lake Placid. We were greeted by Suzy and Paul with the warmest of welcomes and the sweet smell of chocolate walnut muffins baking. We were then taken on a tour of this historic building where one turn was more lovely than the last. Truly an experience. The room was very clean, calming and comfortable with exquisite Adirondack decor. The bed, pillows, and linens were of fine quality and added to the "at home" feeling. In the evening, we were invited to a cheese and wine/beer gathering around the fire and entertained by our lovely hosts. In the morning, we were treated to a hot breakfast of the highest quality. Ask for the signature yogurt! We are looking forward to visiting again.

I booked a trip to Lake Placid last minute on the day before a long weekend, because I had a free weekend and had always wanted to visit Lake Placid. I found Stagecoach Inn online and made a booking. I called Kelly, the owner and host, the day of my visit to let her know I would be arriving late that night, because I was driving from New York City. She was very friendly and accommodating. As I drove to Lake Placid, Kelly was checking on me to make sure my drive was going well. Alas, I had chosen to drive the night of a snowstorm, which began to get worse as I approached Lake Placid. I had also rented a car which was not at all prepared to deal with the icy, snowy road that I encountered. About seven miles out from the hotel, around 12 am, my car slid off the road and into a snowbank. Luckily I was fine, but the snow was coming down hard and I couldn't get my car out. I texted Kelly, and she came to my rescue. She got in her car and drove out in the middle of the snowstorm to help me. Remember, we had never met in person before, and she could have been putting herself in danger. She was willing to do that to help a guest. She picked me up and drove me to safety. The next day, she drove me to breakfast, and to pick up my car, which had been towed. The rest of my experience was outstanding. The rooms were excellent, and the food was great. But I will always remember Kelly and how she went above and beyond to help me. She is an amazing person!

My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Lake Placid Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of magical! Before arriving, the owner Kelly, sent us a "Perfect Placid" list of the areas attractions with things to do and restaurant recommendations. So cool! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed - Kelly and her staff greeted us warmly and offered a quick tour pointing out the cozy common areas and sharing a bit of the Inn's history. The vintage accents and handcrafted furniture made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Our room (Kate Smith) was sooo comfortable, mixing rustic charm and beautiful modern amenities! Our dining experience was spectacular with seasonal offerings that support local farms and vendors. Absolutely delicious and everyone made us feel like family! The location is just minutes from everything, yet it feels like a secluded retreat. We sat on the porch and played cribbage with our wine and handcrafted cocktails. So fun and relaxing! We also visited the village shops, Mirror Lake, and biked the beautiful Adirondack Trail. Our whole trip was simply amazing... and too short! Bottom line, The Stagecoach has historic charm, 5-star dining, and a location that perfectly balances convenience with tranquility. It will warm your soul. We definitely plan to stay again!! Stagecoach is one of the most charming places we have visited in ages. The history and character of this 1799 inn provides the perfect backdrop for the lovely Adirondack antiques arranged in cozy grouping throughout this property. We felt welcome and relaxed from the moment we arrived thanks to the lovely manager who runs the property with an impeccable eye and genuine smile.

This is the cutest little Inn. Our room the Dewey Day was so cozy like a step back in time from the flicking lighting to the claw foot tub. Breakfeat was delicious and the evening drinks at tje fkrw put great. Our favorite part of the stay though was the staff. We was greeted and showed around the Inn along with provided history. The staff was so friendly and welcoming it. Always offering to help they was truely delightful and we will be back to visit

Stayed with my wife for 3 nights and had the best time. Donna and Greg were wonderful hosts! Breakfast was terrific especially the blueberry pancakes. We loved the happy hour each night from 5-6! Overall, we had a great relaxing time and was a perfect getaway from NYC.

Very nice environment! The breakfast is amazing! Besides, the people who work there are really nice. We forgot the earrings and they’re willing to mail them to us. We would definitely stay this place again!
