Luxurious beachfront retreat on Lake Superior!

Enjoy stunning sunrises from the deck while listening to Lake Superior waves lap the shoreline. Located on the east side of the Keweenaw Peninsula, near Houghton and Calumet, this house offers panoramic views of Lake Superior and Big Traverse Bay. The pure white sand beach is more than 100’ deep and more than three miles long.

The house offers 3 bedrooms of a king, queen and two twin beds, and two full baths, sun room, outdoor shower, deck and lanai with stunning views of Lake Superior. The open concept kitchen, dining, and living room have beautiful morning light with large windows, making it the ideal place for morning coffee and gatherings. The gourmet kitchen is perfect for holiday gatherings or casual cooking and includes granite counters, Miel dishwasher, Sub-Zero refrigerator, and comes fully stocked with pots, pans, spices, and plenty of cutlery.

The master bedroom and a large bathroom with walk-in shower and custom live edge vanity are on the main floor with two additional bedrooms and a full bath on the lower level. Unique furnishings and decor highlight the areas natural features and give this house a clean, modern open feel. Two kayaks and a stand-up paddleboard are available to enhance your enjoyment of the water. Outdoor shower, hammocks, and deck furniture are available from May - October. Construction was completed in spring 2023.

Wildlife such as bald eagles, sand hill cranes, beavers, geese, ducks, and deer are regularly seen. Great blueberry picking in late summer/early fall on the property, nearby public parks and a pick-your-own blueberry farm just a few miles away. Superb fall colors make autumn a beautiful time to visit. The Keweenaw offers downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, world-class mountain biking, fishing, boating, copper mine tours, two national parks, antiquing, hunting, light houses, beaches, spas, kayaking, historical tours, and much, much more.

Wonderful location and luxurious home! For two couples we each had our own space and savored the views and beach. Todd was helpful with any questions we had. Gem of a place

My family loved our stay here. We stayed in 2 places while on vacation in the UP & this was our favorite- wishing we had stayed longer. We cooked all our meals while here & the kitchen was wonderful. The beach is gorgeous, and we even did a "cold plunge" as a family in the lake. Truly a gem of a place.

Amazing home

Location matters! I really needed a vacation away from cars, trains and planes. The quiet peacefulness of this home was remarkable. Everything about the house was wonderful, and Todd's communication really made it easy to enjoy our time. Looking out from the master bedroom to the lake is a one-of-a-kind experience that can't be beat. Cooking for my family in the gourmet kitchen was a pleasure. I brought eight fancy meal kits and they were a breeze to make using the wonderful equipment here.My kids enjoyed the extra space to relax in after busy days exploring the peninsula. very grateful that we got to experience the house, the beach, and the nearby communities! Thank you!

A relaxing getaway on the big lake

I came to ski Mount Bohemia with some friends and Todd's place was clean, well equipped and a great vibe to relax and enjoy views of icy Lake Superior. Tap water was tinted brown due to the well. Todd did say it was safe to drink and a drinking water fountain is provided.

Modern Beach house in UP near Lake Linden

This beautiful beach house was the absolute best one yet! Great for 2 and room for 6. Perfect for families, kids or just a pair of old fogies! We had 3 days and nites of gorgeous weather, and a perfect location to check out the Keweenaw Peninsula and all it has to offer. Just enjoying our coffee and listening to the waves was pure enjoyment. We would definitely return to this jewel if we return from the Lone Star state!

Could be Superior

The property needs some "Finishing touches" to be an excellent one. A headboard on the master bed, adult size life preservers if you are going to have kayaks and paddle boards for use on Lake Superior, a kitchen faucet that doesn't leak all over the countertop and a water filtration system that can remove tannins. The water is gross!

Amazing Stay at a Serene Lake Superior Retreat! We recently stayed at a lake house near Lake Linden, nestled right on the shores of Lake Superior, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet but close to local amenities and the charming town of Lake Linden. The house itself was immaculate, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The large windows provided breathtaking views of the lake, especially during sunrise. We loved spending our mornings sipping coffee on the deck and evenings by the cozy firepit. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking, and we appreciated the little thoughtful touches like board games and a list of local hotspots to check out. One of the highlights was the private access to the lake. Whether you're into kayaking, fishing, or just lounging by the water, this spot is ideal. We even spotted some wildlife and took advantage of nearby hiking trails. The fall colors were just popping out, making it a perfect getaway for nature lovers. Overall, this lake house was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Whether you're looking to relax, explore the great outdoors, or just enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior, I highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back!

Return to the Keweenaw.

This place exceeded our expectations. Just unbelievable. Shared my old Tech memories with the Family. So much to see and so little time. The week flew by. The wild blueberries on property were very tasty every morning. The beach was amazing. The sunrises were spectacular. Hard to put in words the overall experience for the week. Thank You! btw, the wine was gone before we unpacked the first day. Nice touch. Thank You.

Wonderfull house on Lake Superior

This is a beautiful modern house on a long, long stretch of golden sand beach. The house has tons of windows and high ceilings so you feel like you are outdoors. It is a two level house so is perfect for larger family or just a couple (one bedroom on the main floor). It’s minutes from a boat launch. There are also smaller inland lakes nearby. The hosts are very nice folks. There is a lot to do in the area in spite of the feeling of being remote. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing!!

Booked this place to propose to my partner and it was amazing! It definitely helped us relax and healed our souls. We miss it. The peacefulness listening to nature and the waves hit was just perfect. We were also able to go out and explore the rest of the UP which was much cooler than I had expected. I hope to come back to go rock hunting!
