Lake George NY - Family & Pet Friendly Vacation Home

Our Diamond Point vacation home is conveniently located between the village of Lake George and the town of Bolton Landing. There is a lake view when trees are not in full bloom. It is remodeled, comfortable, and peaceful with a babbling brook in the backyard. There are 3 bedrooms in the house, with an additional sitting room with a full bed. The house is fully equipped as we used this as a second home before making it a vacation rental. There is an adjoining deck with a grill for barbecues, and second deck off the master bedroom. Kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles are available for your use. We have a nearby cabin that is on the water, where we keep the kayaks and paddle boards.

Our house is located 3 1/2 miles north of the village of Lake George and 5 miles south of Bolton Landing. The surrounding area offers many outdoor activities; swimming, biking, hiking and horseback riding are all readily available. Shopping, an array of restaurants, amusement parks and historic and cultural sites are also nearby. Bus transportation is available to all the nearby attractions and towns from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It is less than 30 minutes to Saratoga, providing an excellent location during horse racing season.

There are several public beaches within 10 minutes from the house.There is a large deck with a picnic table for outdoor eating, and a screened in porch for relaxing in the evenings. Several books, movies, and games are available for your use. Our house remains cool throughout the summer, while allowing you to enjoy the summer fun during the day. We have installed central air conditioning, and there are ceiling fans in most of the rooms. There are many great restaurants in the area, numerous outdoor activities, and entertainment venues nearby.

We have been vacationing in Lake George for more than 30 years. Diamond Point is a 5 minute drive to the Lake George village or Bolton Landing, but more peaceful and avoids the summer crowds. It is less than 3 miles from the Northway (87) and provides easy access to the entire Adirondack region.

Great location!

My family loved this home. A nice, bright, sunny location with yard space for the dogs, plenty of sleeping space for kids, and close to our favorite breakfast spot. Also easy to get to beaches and the village of lake george while still being quiet and serene.Such a generous host as well! (Excellent brownies!)Would love to book here again!

Great house, location and host

I stayed with 5 friends and 2 dogs in this house for 5 days and this place was perfect. Big house very comfortable and clean, but the host made our stay be even better taking us for kayak and being super kind with many recommendations and tips. I would totally choose this house again and would recommend it to anyone else visiting the area.

Like the title states, house was nice and very comfortable. Owner met us when we arrived, and gave a tour of the home (and of course her famous brownies). House location was close enough to the main area of Lake George but gave us the privacy we wanted.

Enjoyed our stay here. Location was perfect - only a few minutes from both Lake George village and Bolton Landing. The house was clean and roomy enough for 7 of us. Quiet neighborhood and very convenient location for everything we wanted to do. Host was very helpful ( brownies were great). The screened porch was a plus. Would definitely look to stay here again.

Spacious and very convenient to the Village if Lake George and shopping.

It was a very nice and comfortable home. Wish it overlooked the lake and had access to a private beach with kayaking. It was a little awkward to have to notify the homeowner and be escorted to kayak. For that reason, we only went once.

Comfortable, great location, and fully stocked

Chris’s place made us feel at home. It’s a very comfortable house and there were loads of books to read about the area and for fun. We enjoyed cooking together and were very glad to find such a well appointed kitchen. The grill and the big backyard for the dog to run in were added bonuses as were the brownies and the squash. The location is very convenient to Bolton Point and Lake George. We enjoyed eating at some of the restaurants Chris recommended.

Diamond Point Summer Vacation

Had a great time. House was terrific--Clean and right by the Lake. Huddle Bay Beach 4 miles away. Chris is a great host--Arranged for us to use her kayaks and Sup Board. Steep stairs to second floor bedrooms. Middle bedroom on second floor has little privacy and no closet. Great showers and very comfortable living and dining rooms. nice big yard. Close to all Lake George has to offer.

Nice lake George getaway!

The house was perfect for our week long family vacation. It's an older house, but very clean and comfortable. Close to the village and grocery stores. The screen porch was a nice place to sit and relax without having to deal with bugs.

Diamond Point Rd. House at Lake George

Our rental house was clean and neat as a pin. It had everything you might possibly need to have a great time. Plus the owner Chris was awesome. We highly recommend this house.
