With an open plan kitchen and living room that catches lots of sunlight through the large glass terrace doors leading to the spacious and furnished terrace, this apartment is the ideal getaway for couples who love to explore Praia da Luz and it's surroundings, but also want a comfy and fully equipped homebase during their stay. From here, you can have your toes in the sand in just few minutes. Supermarkets, shops and the many restaurants and bars that this quaint little beach town has to offer are very close by.

The apartment is completely private and equipped with everything you might need on your holiday. The separate bedroom has a 150x200 double bed, the renovated bathroom has a beautiful walk-in shower and the open plan kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook up a storm!

## Neighborhood

Luz is a quaint little holiday getaway along the Algarvian coastline. Shops, bars and restaurants and a beautiful beach are right on your doorstep. Set amidst spectacular coastal scenery you can take your time to explore the stunning cliffs, undiscovered beaches, neighbouring quaint villages and the national park. It’s just a 15-minute drive to the regional capital, Lagos, if you want a bit more action.

The complex is a short walk from the supermarkt, bars, restaurants and other shops and only a 2 minute walk to the beautiful, child-friendly beach. Great for surfing and other watersports activities like diving, snorkeling and sailing. And near one of the many hiking trails down the cliffs.

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.

## Transit

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

You can park for free in Luz. Parking in front of the apartment is not always available in summer, but there will be plenty of space in the surrounding streets.

To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival we shall send to you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us prior to your arrival. It is mandatory requirement.
