The room didn’t appear to be cleaned prior to arrival There was dried food ketchup on the table beside the beds No coffee maker in room the continental breakfast wasn’t even available . Asked for coffee and it was stone cold. The curtains didn’t close all the way The bathroom vent was disgusting Lamp shades looked burnt Tv remote only flipped between 4 channels I know older hotel that’s been renovated but for 100 bucks a night …… the staff were very nice though keep that up!

I stayed for two nights and found my room and bed very comfortable. It’s a simple hotel but it’s clean, comfortable, with friendly staff. The owner was also about and he would check in on us personally when he saw us. The TV is a little older so if you are stopping to rest and watch a show, the image is a little blurry, but otherwise good. The kitchen was undergoing maintenance during my stay, so the breakfast was a cold continental - coffee, tea, juice, and pastries like croissants, cookies, and muffins. Coffee was good. I was told they sometimes have a warm breakfast like eggs when the kitchen is functional. The AC worked really well and kept the room cool, not noisy at all. Although the location is right at the main entrance of Lac La Biche, the area is quiet, probably because of a school across the street so cars slow down, and you can walk to the downtown to check out the handful of shops and restaurants there are. There weren’t a lot of people, but I could hear other patrons walking and talking when they passed in front of my door, so maybe not as private as other places. If all you need is a clean, comfortable place to sleep and don’t mind a light breakfast, this is a a nice spot. If you are looking for a place with other amenities like a pool for the kids, not so close to the downtown area, or away from a main road, then maybe not. Price is very affordable! Would consider staying there again.

There was no one at the front desk and when someone did come after approx 20 minutes they did not have my reservation. The front desk gal was also rude to another cleaning employee who was trying to help me. “Continental hot breakfast” was self serve as in we were told by staff to go into the hotel kitchen and serve ourselves to the bread and muffins on the counter…..

Not a pleasant stay, our rate include breakfast and the kitchen where close. Manager lied to us on breakfast, since some guests had access to it and some of us where denied. The corridors smel like sewage, very disgusting.

Tidy. Restaurant was not operational when we were there. Manager/owner was kind and apologetic but couldn't accommodate our complimentary breakfast included with our stay.

Great hotel if you are on a budget or need somewhere to stay overnight. Welcoming staff & eager to please. The owner checked our room, put on the TV, lights & AC for us. That was a nice touch & really appreciated! Beds were VERY comfortable. Nice soft pillows. Large TV and Internet was fast. Newly renovated room. Bathroom was updated. Super clean. The adjoining restaurant is closed for renovations but we were treated to a nice continental breakfast there. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the Lac La Biche area.
