Lac des Arcs Vacations from ￥38,808

This is the second time I stayed at a GlobalStay furnished condo. This particular property was very clean and quiet. However it is very far from Calgary downtown offices and amenities. Definitely need a car to get to anywhere.

So much space ! Went for my bday trip with my partner but we had more than enough room for the both of us. 30 minute drive to Banff which was so convenient and inexpensive.

Great amenities, clean and comfortable rooms— as always for Fairmont.

Meh. Nothing special. When we got there, the hotel parking was full. So we had to park down the street which was inconvenient for bringing luggage to and from the car. Paying customers of the hotel should at least get priority. The pool was like an ice bath. Absolutely freezing. If you’re going to have an outdoor pool, put a heater in it. Even in the 32ndegree weather it was ice cold. Room. Very meh. Big weird spill stains in the dated carpets were giving me the ick. Moisture behind the toilet was gross and the tub was very old and dipped in the center. The hotel I think is due for some updates. Noisy. Ugh, I think it’s normal to expect some typical noise in hotels but when you walk down the hall and people are having seggs at 6:30pm I don’t wanna hear it like its right in front of me. Seriously, had to hurry my kids in the room and turn the tv up not to hear it. Minor complaint- we asked for fresh bedding because our toddler put her sticky fingers and face on the blankets and the maid came up and just re made the bed with the existing dirty bedding. We were able to catch her and ask *again* for FRESH bedding. I can say, I did like the fresh citrus water at the lobby. We stopped there multiple times a day for refills and that was a nice touch - especially in the heat. Would I stay here again? No. For the price I think I’d go somewhere like Delta or a little nicer.
