Almond House at Balenbouche Estate, on 70 acres of beachfront property

Balenbouche Estate is a renowned guesthouse, organic farm, heritage site and family home. The 70-acre grounds feature a plantation house, yoga barn, and 18th-century sugar mill surrounded by ancient trees, pastures, and wild beaches. Dining, massages and tours are available. The pitons, hot springs and waterfalls are a short drive away. All our eco-friendly cottages (Waterlily, Banyan, Almond, Frangipani, Calabash and Moringa) are built without screens and cooled by the tropical breeze.

The bright and breezy Almond Cottage offers 2 bedrooms with two separate bathrooms, a kitchen and a large open living area/veranda. The master bedroom offers a king bed and beautiful semi-outdoor shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds which can be put together. A baby cot can be placed in either bedroom. The kitchen offers a full-sized fridge, gas stove and oven. The large, covered veranda offers a dining table for 8 people, and two suspended swinging benches – one of the many popular features of this cottage for reading and relaxing.
