It was in the middle of everything. We wanted to visit Sedona, but also visited old Cottonwood and Jerome. Sedona was way too busy for us. We could drive there whenever we wanted to enjoy it there, but could easily drive to Cottonwood and Jerome as easily. The property was maintained well but the amenities needed updated. The furnishings were outdated, the radio still had a cd player(without Bluetooth connection) and the tvs were not smart(had DVD players connected and no cable). Didn't matter much to us because we only used it as a place to sleep. It was equipped with all amenities necessary to cook whatever you would like. A complete full kitchen. We would absolutely return to here again for the price! Also beware that they're going to try to sell you timeshare. You have to go see a person to get your parking pass which you don't need. Lol. He will give you significant discounts to places of interest for about an hour and a half of your time.
