Room was spotless and had all the necessary amenities. We loved the beach location, and a short drive over to the Malecón. Private and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. Leeann was a wonderful hostess. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful property. Loved the property , was directly on the water. The sunsets on the top patio were very relaxing. The breakfast was great and overall hospitality was top notch. First time staying at a bed and breakfast. My husband and I had an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend to stay here.

Leanne is amazing and the property was great for a relaxing vacation and breakfast any day we wanted it. Always good company and food as well as views and things to do on the water. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Kootenay. Leeanne was an awesome host, and we enjoyed our mornings together with the other guests over breakfast, and had a fun bonfire on the beach.

This is a wonderful place to stay with comfortable rooms, so so many places to relax in and out of the sun. A lovely pool, great breakfasts, quick access to central La Paz and walks on the beach. Leeanne and her staff have thought of everything! Go stay!

We had an incredible stay here. Leanne was welcoming and warm, with a wealth of local information. The breakfast was delicious—such a treat to have fresh fruits and yogurt in addition to warm savory dishes each day. We enjoyed the paddle boards and bikes that Leanne has for guests. And the rooftop deck made for amazing views of the sunset! Highly recommend.

What a delightful spot! Leanne obviously takes pride in providing a warm, welcoming stay. Our room was comfy and clean with a roomy bath and shower. The breakfast area is such a sweet spot with glorious views of the bay, and Alma cooks up delicious breakfasts. Even more impressive is Leanne’s knowledge of the area. With her help and free bikes & kayaks, we had the perfect vacay!

Casa Kootenay was a resort-like experience. The rooms are clean, beds extremely comfortable, shared spaces luxurious, provided breakfast delicious. Parking was easy, bikes/kayaks all provided as well as a run-down of local points & contacts of interest. The vibe is on-point across the board- this is perhaps my favorite vacation b&b/hotel experience, ever. I'd highly recommend Casa Kootenay and hope to return again!

Loved our stay at this beachfront BnB! We stayed as a couple for 3 nights during a 2 week road trip. Extremely comfortable beds, amazing breakfast and accompaniments (so many sauces, tea, cereals to choose from) and so many spaces to hang out. The beach day offerings and bikes were amazing as well, we didn’t use everything but had we stayed longer surely would have!

This is a wonderful B&B LeeAnne is wonderful. If you want to relax this is the place. The veranda is wonderful, if your lucky you might see dolphins swimming in the bay. You can walk to 2 wonderful restaurant's La Posada and La Mariva. The large grocery store is within walking distance. Overall try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Casa Kootenay is a beautiful property located right on the sandy beach of El Conchalito. It’s a beautiful property that includes the use of their on-premise bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards as well as other activities. The best part of this facility is the staff. Leanne and her team were gracious hosts throughout the entire stay. They were very accommodating to dietary and travel needs and provided a wealth of information regarding local tours as well as various activity and dining options. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to an opportunity to stay here again.

WOW, great place!

What a beautiful place. Even better than the photos. The weather wasn't the best, but we were able to ride the bikes supplied along the malacon, which starts nearly in front of the bnb. The area by the swimming pool is protected so we were able to enjoy the sun while being out of the wind. We loved that kayaks and paddle boards are also supplied, and the next time we go we hope to make use of them. Note that the bnb is on an estuary, but ocean beaches are a short drive. Thank you to Leeanne for making us vegan breakfasts and giving lots of tips for what to see in the area. We loved this beautiful oasis.

We had an amazing time at Casa Kootenay. It was beautiful and relaxing, and the neighbourhood felt safe and quiet. There are just a couple of rooms so it felt intimate but still social—ideal! We had access to everything we needed, including bikes which we used to bike into/out of town in about 15 minutes. Leanne was a fantastic host and it was great waking up to breakfast every morning. Also, baby tortoises! We hope to make it back one day.
