Smukkeste udsigt
Smukt hotel med fantastisk udsigt. Både aftensmad og morgenmad var meget lækkert. Prisen er i den dyre ende, men det var hver en krone værd. Vi endte med at bruge hele dagen på at sidde på terrassen og nyde udsigten, ingen grund til at tage på ture når man kan blive på hotellet. Fin lader til elbil, gratis.

Etablissement au calme, dans la nature, superbe panorama depuis le restaurant, idéal pour la détente... Les installations et services offrent tout confort. Particulièrement apprécié : la piscine couverte, le jacuzzi, la clim dans la chambre, la bouilloire pour le café, les petites attentions sucrées pour l'arrivée... Personnel très accueillant et à l'écoute. Les soins très professionnels et le spa très propre. Je recommande et je n'hésiterai pas à y retourner

Romantic stay with excellent service.
Checked in and enjoyed the hotel facilities relaxing by the pool enjoying the late afternoon sun. The room was perfect for us. Plenty of amenities and the balcony gave us a gorgeous view of the gorges. Many relaxing areas for after dinner. The breakfast was a true feast with hot options as well as all the usual breads and cakes.

Une vraie belle vue panoramique
Agencement de la chambre atypique et très sympa. Vue splendide!!! Personnel très agréable. Pour le petit dej la qualité des produits salés proposés est un peu décevante mais pour le sucré pleins de choses maisons très sympas. Déçue de ne pas avoir eu le retour par mail promis par téléphone sur l’oubli d’une affaire dans ma chambre.

Très bel hôtel proche du village. 5 minutes à pied. Personnel très accueillant et à notre écoute. Belle chambre avec tous les accessoires mais sûrement du fait que ce soit le premier prix, chambre un peu petite pour un long séjour. Pas de place où poser la valise. Mais c'est anecdotique à côté du cadre de vie pour les vacances ! Un moment de bonheur, le spa et si vous pouvez un massage ! La restauration sur place, très bonne et nécessaire car peu de choix aux alentours. Les petits déjeuners copieux avec un large choix. Il faut ça pour bien randonner :)

Great stay!
Had a great stay at Hotel & Spa des Gorges du Verdon. Staff was friendly and accommodating, food was great and the whole area is breathtaking. I recommend to upgrade from the basic room, it’s worth it!

Agréable
Bel établissement dans son ensemble. Chambre tres propre, petit-déjeuner et diner de bonne qualité. En revanche, il manque quelques attentions pour une chambre standard a 230€: des chaussons, des peignoirs dans la chambre, une eponge a chaussures, une cafetière... sont des attentions que nous avons l'habitude d'avoir a ce prix.

Schöne Anlage. Gutes Zimmer (auch Hunde sind willkommen). Frühstück lecker (EUR 17.00). Zwei Minuspunkte; 1.) schlechter Service beim Check-in. Leider kein herzlicher & dienstleistungsorientierter Empfang. 2.) Pool nicht wirklich einladend.

Nous avons aimé, l'architecture et le désign de l'hotel. Nous avons aimé son emplacement unique et remarquable. Nous avons aimé la qualité des repas et des plats. Nous n'avons pas aimé le manque d'équipements dans les chambres et l'état général qui pourrait être amélioré. Un hotel 4 étoiles se doit de proposer des chambres ayant une prestation de haute qualité. Une boulloire, du café et du thé dans les chambre sont un minimum.

I stayed two nights and the meals on the veranda and spa services were outstanding. The room was spotless and so comfortable. I would like to return in the future. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever
Worst hotel experience ever! Booking this hotel was one of the worst decision I've ever made...The lady who seemed liked the owner of the hotel is absolutely rude! She is super sarcastic (as you can see from her comments), frowning, shaking her head while talking in French to an employee in front of us so that we can't understand. Whatever her problem was, she shouldn't be managing a hotel. Her absurd behavior almost ruined our trip. I regret staying there. 여기 절대가지마세요 주인 완전 사가지라 기분 다 망합니다

This property was a bit of a drive thru narrow mountain roads but worth it. The views were spectacular. The room we booked was small, but it was presented accurately in the images when I booked it, so not surprised. The balcony off of our room had great views of the area and was very calming. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

Charming and restful hotel with great views.
The hotel was delightful and public areas really stylish, nothing 'generic' about it. You're always greeted with a warm welcome. Nice inside and outside comfortable bar area. Dinner was superb, both times we ate there, very high standard food. The view is fabulous from the terrace and I found this very relaxing. We both had a massage and an hour in the spa, both were good. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is an odd semicircular and I didn't enjoy it so much due to all the insects in it. The grounds are beautiful, lots of flowers. I'd rcommend the Route de Cretes and Aqua Rond in the gorge, from Castellane, as well as Moustiers. Lots of walks from Le PAlud but too hot for us.

Disappointed!!
The pool was cold, to enter the spa area you have to book a minimum 50 minutes treatment, the breakfast was very poor and disappointed, for every thing you need to pay extra like omlets, fresh orange juice, cappuccino. For a spa hotel you expect a little bit more value for money!!

Lots of pros & lots of cons but too many cons 4 me
It is a beautiful property in a lovely setting with beautiful views. The meal we had there was absolutely superb, best meal we have had in a very long time and we have had some good meals. Fantastic! We didn't have breakfast even though it was included because we were still full from dinner the night before...yes, that good!!! The staff were pleasant and helpful and there is a nice little gift shop. There is a beautiful pool and lounge area and spa however we were there for only one night so unfortunately didn't get a chance to use any of it but looked lovely. Now to the cons....the rooms are very small and the bathroom is IN the bedroom...there is a privacy door to the toilet. I knew this when I booked it but when you actually use it you realize how impractical it is. We wake up at different times but I can at least go use the bathroom and shower without disturbing my partner however in this room that is impossible, you can't turn on a light without illuminating the entire room. There is no bar fridge in the room, again I knew this going in but didn't realize until we got there how inconvenient it is especially when you are on a road trip. I was also disappointed in the lack of amenities in the room, no tea/coffee, no body lotion, not even a shower cap which I guess I have been spoiled because I am accustomed to having them in every hotel room (even budget ones!) so don't take my own. They did have lovely L'occitane shower gel and shampoo built into the shower and a hand soa

Beklageligvis ble oppholdet belastet, til tross for at bestillingen tydelig antydet at hotellet ikke ville belaste beløpet før utsjekk. I tillegg hadde hotels.com feilinformert om halvpensjon, men dette ordnet hotellet opp i uten å belaste oss for feiltakelsen. Flott hotell og nydelig beliggenhet, men bærer preg av å være litt nedslitt og kunne definitivt hatt en renovering. Til den prisen vi betalte, ville jeg forventet mye mer. Veldig bra restaurant for øvrig.

EVERYTHING in this hotel was just GREAT! From Soizic's (the owner's daughter) fantastic welcoming to the coziness of the room to the beauty of view...When I booked this hotel i honestly didn't know what to expect and thought to myself "It's going to be one of these overpriced french hotels with bad service and poor rooms amenities". I couldn't be further from the truth. The hotel, the rooms, the service...everything was absolutely great about this place. I felt like I was in a 5 stars hotel in Thailand, or Bali. I was also amazed by the quality of the food and service. One could tell that the owners were well-travelled and took their work - no, their passion - really seriously. The plus : the environmental-friendly touch. The management just doesn't talk about it, they are doing it! It's - by far - the best hotel I have visited in Europe. 3 days were not enough!

Nice rustic hotel in middle of gorge
It was very lovely and personalized. They contacted us before we arrived to let us know that the kitchen would be closing at 10 pm, and waited for us with a delicious welcoming meal, shich was great after a long day drive.
