Street parking was easy. The location is close to the beach. Pull out mattress is as advertised, but additional pillows would be nice. Overall is felt clean, the floor felt like it could use a good sweep/vacuum though.

The place was very clean and located in a great place. Thomas took great care of the property, though felt a bit intrusive. Upon messaging him via the app about the wifi password being incorrect at 8:50pm in a polite manner, I had not responded to Thomas’ responses within 45 minutes. He had then proceeded to come down to the door and expressed his frustration with me waking him up and being upset I was not responding to him which was extremely uncomfortable. Otherwise, the place was nice.

Thomas is a great host. He's genuine, happy, and kind. He checked in with us a few times yet also gave us space. The place was easy to find and access thanks to his description. The space is manageable for two. Everything worked well and there were enough plates, bowls, silverware, pots and pans for our needs. Great location, too. Only a 10 minute walk to the local beach. Groceries are only a 10 minute drive away. I already miss La Jolla.

What a cute little spot tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. It is tiny, but manages to feel super cozy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, the fridge was full size, and there is a lovely breeze from the nearby ocean. The bed is a foldout, and it was comfortable for me and my husband, but if you have back problems, bring a topper. Thomas was very helpful and accommodating (even when I goofed up my booking dates!); we will definitely look into staying at this little spot again. What an absolute gem!

Starting from the beginning, Thomas is very responsive from the get go, also provided great instructions for access. The studio has a vibe and personality that really helped me relax, and I felt completely at home. It was sparkling clean exactly the way I keep my home space, and my favorite Chinese restaurant Mandarin House is around the corner, as is Windansea, the prettiest beach in San Diego. I stayed three nights mostly binge watching movies, and it was the perfect vacation for decompressing after a long year of too much work and school. I wanted comfort and simplicity and this spot delivered. I’d give an extra star for being whimsical but the app won’t let me Thanks again Thomas!

Thomas was great with communication, and check in and check out were a breeze. Street parking was very easy, sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the studio is very well located in beautiful La Jolla. Would love to stay here again next time. Thanks again!

Thomas was an extremely kind and welcoming host. His place was cozy and had all the necessary amenities. The location is also superb being within walking distance of the beach, Birdrock, and downtown La Jolla. The neighborhood is quiet and very pretty.Our only issues were the bed was slightly uncomfortable. That aside it was perfect for 1 or 2 people and we'd happily stay again!

Perfect Location & Great Host!

My sister and I stayed here for a weekend away and had a great time! Thomas was a great host and the studio was in a perfect location - super walkable with plenty nearby and a quick walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

This is an awesome spot! The private patio, beach two blocks away, good food options, a kitchenette, etc. it had everything I wanted. It's on a quiet jacaranda lined street with easy parking.
