"Location was good. A few blocks off the beaten path, and kind of a rough looking area, but don't worry. Locals are very friendly. Pool was nice and cool and clean. Shared kitchen was a plus. Room got really hot since AC was only in one portion of the unit. Staff is friendly and place is good for the price. Lots of international clientele. Helps a lot that we are fluent Spanish speakers, don't think much English is spoken "

"Want to experience a lovely colonial hotel, Hotel Polvora is the place to stay! It offers large, comfortable rooms, a beautiful pool area, and great sitting areas to relax. It is less than a 15 minute walk to the center square. The streets are a delight to walk with lots of cool shops and cafes."

"El Domingo pasado estuvimos en Lake View como regalo de Cumpleaños y nos encantó. Es un bello lugar en medio de la naturalization. La habitación muy limpia. Me encantó los detalles de las florecitas naturales en el baño. La piscina preciosa y limpia. El Desayuno que està incluido fuè “abundante y exquisito”. El staff increiblemente amable.
