Far from the noise, right by the Arenal volcano, the view is WOW! loved my stay here They also have a farm with cows, chickens and horses. I got the chance to watch them milk the cows and try to do it myself. The food is so fresh and delicious authentic costa rican! They have american breakfast option too. The rooms were clean, no bugs issue.

It was just extremely dated it looked like the Flintstones designed and decorated it. The pool could be nicer and better tbh, however the view was incredible!! I also believe they can have a nicer and indoor breakfast area; especially because it rains a lot and it was wet and out in the open.

Great location out of the way of the hustle and bustle of downtown La Fortuna with plenty of restaurants nearby, but also close enough to La Fortuna. Fantastic view of the volcano from our room. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the breakfast spot delightful. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very outdated, especially the bathrooms where the faucets look like they’re decades old.

The staff was excellent, they helped us in the planning of the tours and what to do in the city, the breaksfast was great, you had three options, all delicious. The view to the volcano from the room was perfect. Now, the hotel is old and it looks it. The shower does not have shelf to set your stuff so is very uncomfortable.

The staff here make it worth it! They are 10/10. So kind. The hotel is perfect as a main base for all the activities in the area. Greivin helped us book a spa and dinner evening before our arrival via WhatsApp and it worked out flawlessly. Rooms are simple but clean and private, everything you need for a high activity trip like in fortuna. We would definitely stay here again.

There was a dog on the property that bite my girlfriend. The staff offered a free dinner. But the free breakfast was not very edible so I declined. Was also never told if the dog was vaccinated. So now we have to schedule a rabies shot.

After reading several reviews that surfaced post-booking, I almost cancelled our reservation. However, we decided to chance it, and I am so glad we did! We stayed in a superior bungalow as a family of four (two adults, two teens) and had a wonderful experience. The superior bungalow was spacious and well-equipped with a functional AC, mini-fridge, and seating for four. The beds were firm, which I prefer. Housekeeping was excellent, visiting daily to mop and change towels; we felt completely safe leaving our belongings in the room. The hospitality was some of the best we have ever received. Cesar and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to help us. Regarding concerns about pests: the bungalows are rustic, so while a few ants or a gecko might pop in, we saw no mosquitoes or roaches. It felt very clean. The property is near a busy road, so traffic noise is audible, but we used earplugs to sleep soundly. Any noise was worth it for the view; sipping coffee while looking at the volcano was a highlight. Meals were basic but decent, affordable, and convenient. For those seeking more of an authentic, rustic experience with amazing views and top-tier service, I highly recommend this spot. For luxury, look elsewhere, but for us, it was just right!
