It seemed to be limited the amount of hot water supply from the solor panels. We couldn't soak a bath after the shower. It was a bit disappointing.(But,it means eco-friendly.) The other was perfect !

We liked how it was immersed in a natural setting with beautiful vegetation and statues. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Thushira was especially kind during meal service as was everyone at Santosha. The view of the ocean and Praslin added to the experience.

The hotel room was nice three stars because expedia didnt help me to cancel one night i couldnt advise im advance as my flight was delaying every hour when i realize i was not going to make it i try to cancel one night even i pay the insurance and it was useless thats how expedia steals your money, and well ok the next morning the room wasnt even ready even if we should have arrive the night prior, i got sick from the buffet and the day departing to the port station the driver make us wait 10 min so i decided to start walking, i wouldnt come back to this hotel its a waste of money from what u got

Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie is a luxury resort very close to the ferry berth and yet designed to ensure privacy and comfort. The property spans the main roadway with the pool, bar and restaurants on one side and villas on the other. Staff was friendly and attentive at all points of contact. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Buffet meals at the restaurant that overlooked the beach varied from evening to evening but were generally fine with lots of options, though the on demand grill options were best. Almost everything in LaDigue is walking or biking distance so resort is well placed. While the heat was intense and Seychelles is pricey, overall my stay was awesome! Would highly recommend!

Enjoyed this hotel. But they state that they are very eco friendly. They provide reusable water bottles so that the consume of plastic is to the minimum. But yet they give plastic water bottles in your room, roughly four. Should Mandate no plastic bottles and have many refillable water stations and not just one at main entrance .

Un établissement beaucoup trop cher au regard des prestations fournies. Chambre plus que moyenne avec une terrasse en pas tres bon état et donnant sur des habitations de service. L’ensemble pourrait être acceptable mais pas à ce prix… Un bon point cependant au niveau du personnel qui est adorable

A hotel with the little extra
I dare say that this is one of the best hotels on La Digue. It's big but doesn't feel big and impersonal, quite the opposite! We stayed in one of the suites which was up on a hillside - literally in the jungle - absolutely wonderful! The room was fantastic, but the bathroom even more ...Wonderful outdoor bathroom, wheyyou literally showered under the ⭐️. Every evening when you came back to the room, the staff had lit a candle, lovely an cozy...consideration! The hotel is nicely located by the water with a lovely pool area. The food, including the buffet, is high class. The breakfast offers a glass of 🥂 a breakfast with a extra spark! I really recommend this hotel if you want to treat yourself with something extra on your holiday.

Fint poolområde men för litet i förhållande till gästerna svårt att få en solstol. Maten är ok men inte mer. Personalen gör sitt jobb men med varierande engagemang. Kändes som de vill vara ett bättre hotell men saknar finessen. Läget är dock väldigt bra på ön.

Amazing nature on La Digue. Excellent hotel location and premises. Buffet breakfast and dinner not great. Coffee is terrible. Staff looking like they hate their job and the guests. With some exceptions. Flying cochroaches, so outdoor shower may not be for everyone.

Der Glanz ist leider verschwunden
Wir waren im November 2016 sehr begeistert vom Styling und den kleinen schönen geschmacklichen Details wie große bunte Deko Flaschen bei der Poolbar und hängenden bunten Luster im Restaurant bis zu den silbernen Kaffeetassen , auch die tollen großzügigen Pflegeprodukten am “ Zimmer” und die sehr freundliche Bedienung wo man sich immer willkommen fühlte daher kamen wir November 2017 wieder und fühlten uns sehr wohl. 2022 kamen wir wieder im November und wir wurden zum Teil sehr enttäuscht. Mitarbeiter gab es nur wenig mit einem lächeln im Gesicht - beim Frühstück wenn man um Salz und Pfeffer bittet wird man genervt angeschaut, jedoch gab es eine jüngere Mitarbeiterin im Service die wirklich sehr freundlich war und die Poolherren verstehen es auch wie man in einem, wie das Hotel sich selbst bezeichnet Luxushotel” arbeitet. Unsere Villa war renoviert und sehr schön, über die nächtlichen Besuche von Tausendfüßler oder Kakerlaken kann man sich nicht beschweren wenn man in der Natur wohnt , aber vielleicht kann man die Türspalten mit irgendetwas abdichten damit die Tierchen nicht ungehindert in die Villa spazieren können. An der Poolbar gab es keine Schönen Details mehr “ Eychacher, die Möbel wurden teilweise erneuert aber es wirkt auf uns nicht mehr so qualitativ hochwertig, die hohen Tische bei der Poolbar brechen bald zusammen. Aber ich denke die desolaten Möbel werden langsam aber doch ausgetauscht. Unsere größte Endtäuschung war die Verabschiedung und das unsere Koffer im Reg

This hotel was one of the most amazing hotels we have been in! The room's outside shower and bathtub were so nice and sexy. The room was cosy and the porch was lovely. The Santosha restaurant has a wonderful buffet for both breakfast and dinner. The staff was always friendly, respectful and helpful. Ragah and Danisha (I hope I'm spelling their names right...) treated us like family. Definitely a place to stay!

Cet établissement est top, excellent buffet, belles villas, personnel top... Seule regrets ; le prix des boissons (2 fois plus cher que les bars juste à côté) et le matelas "rebondissant". Je vous recommande cet établissement sans hésitation.

C'est un domaine très bien situé à la Digue. Mais un brin de déception. Eau coupée 02 nuits sur 03 ! Sans aucune information. Le jacuzzi de la villa de charme élégance bien vétuste. Et là propreté des serviettes de piscine pas très nettes. C'est vraiment dommage car le rapport qualité-prix n'est pas du tout à la hauteur. Malgré nos requêtes aucun geste n'a été effectué , c'est un budget tout de même , et même pas un cocktail offert pour tous les désagréments. C'est dommage car malgré la beauté de ce domaine je ne le recommanderais pas.

We had a beautiful villa with a balcony, and with the most memorable outdoor spa-like tub/shower experience! Location was great and hotel transfer to and from the ferry was ideal! I wish we had ocean views from the room but being up in the hills felt very private. The pool was beautiful, and was the perfect place to watch the gorgeous sunset over the Indian Ocean. Oceanfront dining and the ocean breeze that accompanied it was amazing! One downside was the room temperature; it got a bit hot at night despite the AC and fan being on

I was not given presidental suite as per my Expedia bookings. The lesser rooms added up to lesser amount. The difference was made up with two bottles of champagne and two spa treatments and special dinner. The difference was approximately $1500.00 that I was able to determine later. When one travels half way around the world to stay at a resort causing jet lag, at check in your not going to do some fancy calculation to determine fairness. One will probably accept the offer as we did and suffer the economic consequences. I blame the management for this. Was this a scam?

Magnifique!

La Digue Review
With limited options on La Digue, this was prob the best place. The grounds are beautiful, parts of the property are a bit dated. The restaurant staff were great and attentive, as were the bar staff, pool staff, and buggy drivers. However, the front desk staff were not very pleasant, or helpful and this does stand out unfortunately. While the rest of the island was ultra friendly, the front desk staff not being friendly stuck out even further.

Perfect rooms in the trees
The hotel has a very nice structure in the middle of the trees. The room was definitely the star of the stay. Really comfortable, well decorated and integrated with the nature.The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at the buffet restaurant was ok, but no much variety. The beach in front of the hot is lovely but not really suitable for swimming. The pool is great! You can rent a bike just in front of the hotel and can easily visit the island biking. The hotel is quite expensive but the rooms are really special. We recommend the hotel and would go back in the future.
