You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Waterfront, hot tub, wildlife, quiet, sunsets.

Three-plus bedrooms, three-bath waterfront house. Semi-secluded cove, extra lot for family outdoor games. Hot tub with a view of the water, islands and mountains. Tastefully decorated with local artwork. Elegant and simple. Two queen-size beds with down comforters, (also non-allergenic available) one queen-size futon, and one single bed. There are no TVs in the bedrooms. Dining table seats six. Bar stools seat four. BBQ supplies provided. As of August 2025 new living-room furniture. Photos soon. Kid and pet friendly.

PETS: MUST BE PRE-APPROVED. Maximum one pet - must be under 20 lbs and non-shedding. Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding and are $30 per night.

VRBO placed an AI generated description on the first page that indicates we have a garden. We do not. Hopefully this will be corrected soon.

Vacant lot next door offers further privacy as well as extra parking. There is a vacant house on it. We are not responsible should someone enter and harm themselves.

ABSOLUTE QUIET IN HOT TUB AFTER 9:00 p.m. Noise is amplified by the water.

(NOTE ON RATES: We charge $325 a night for two people and charge an extra $30 per night per person for additional people. Please indicate number of guests when filling out booking or you will get a different rate.)

La Conner offers shopping, Tulip Festival in April, Art's Alive in the fall, The Farm Festival, fine restaurants and antique shopping. Nearby Anacortes offers hiking trails and kayak rentals. Great walk at Kukutali Preserve two miles from the house.

We are kid and pet friendly but we are not childproof nor pet proof. Children and pets must be supervised at all times. Hot tub is not fenced. We are not responsible for accidents on the property, use at your own risk.

The adjoining lot (for your use) has an access-way to the beach that is public. Occasionally, rarely, it is used by the public.

Tippingrock is located across Skagit Bay from the Whidby Island Naval Air Station. The navy/air force practice formations during the week. Sometimes they are over La Conner, other times they are further south or north and we don't hear them. They do not fly Friday night, Saturday or Sunday. Some folks enjoy the formations, other don't like the noise. We want you to be informed as we never know when, or if, they will be flying (except NOT on weekends.)

Great stay on the cove

Wonderful, cozy home right on the beach. Totally as advertised, no surprises. Very secluded and private. Has a warm, cozy feel and is well-stocked. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Fun Visit

We had a great time here. Incredible views and quiet neighborhood. It had just about everything we needed. We were a little nervous about some of the minor damages and stains on carpets there because we didn't want the owner to think we did those things. And a few things needed repairs. Otherwise, nice stay. Appreciated the AC and the heat options! The sound of the waves was hard to beat!

Fourth of July is the best at Tipping Rock

Such a beautiful, artistic house with a breath taking view. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here between the wonderful amenities and the sound of the waves through open windows Tipping Rock is relaxing and rejuvenating. We can’t wait to come back!

Awesome "Staycation" for Seattlites

This house is in a beautiful location and uniquely decorated. Being so close to the water made us feel like we were secluded, yet were just minutes away from Deception Pass State Park hikes as well as LaConner restaurants and shopping. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had so much wonderful art to look at. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful Retreat

Amazing property with a stunning sunset view. The deck is incredible and the quite neighborhood allows you to feel safe and secluded. Well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook fantastic meals while taking in the beautiful Skagit Bay. Nearby La Conner and Anacortes are accessible and provide all the conveniences one needs. Would stay again!

Great stay

We had a great stay at this house, despite the fact it was supposed to be just me and my wife but we ended up having to bring our 12-year old along. Beautiful setting right on the cove. We brought a paddle board and saw a few seals, and the last morning there we used the telescope to watch three bald eagles hang out for an hour about 100 yards away. Hot tub was perfect.

Stunning ocean front home

Do yourself a favor and rent this house! Peaceful, clean, comfortable and the views! The pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Girls trip

I came to La Conner with my two sisters for little girls getaway. We absolutely loved our stay it was so relaxing and such a stunning location! All the beds were comfortable and we had all the amenities we were needing. We particularly enjoyed our afternoon/evening hot tubs watching the sun go down. We will be returning with our husbands and kids next time!

Beautiful and relaxing views

This rental is as stated. It was a comfortable place to stay for a weekend getaway. It was clean and had so many things stocked. We had everything we needed, everything was easy to use and understand. The hot tub was a plus! The beds were comfortable and we all slept really well. We would certainly rent this lovely spot again!

Great house. Love the tidal change - lots of herons. A pair of river otters on a regular basis. Communications were easy and management team very responsive. Hot tub was pristine as was the rest of the house. Very enjoyable ten days.

Beautiful Waterfront Home, Awesome Host!

Thanks Steve for a wonderful stay in your gorgeous beachfront La Connor home. The sunsets over the water from the hot tub were stunning and the rock of the waves at night soothing. Awesome location - nestled in the forest so it feels like a retreat but close enough to everything from Anacortes to Deception Pass to our morning runs in nearby Kukateli Preserve. Great host — atmospheric lovely design and decorations. Thanks Steve!

Lovely house, AMAZING views

We came to this house to use it as a base for bird watching in the region. Boy, did we make the right choice. Just from the front windows we had at least 10 species, including a peregrine falcon and a pair of eagles. The house has everything you could possibly need. The beds are comfortable. Plus, it has that view! Will book again for sure.
