We booked the room upon arriving in Kuantan. The building's exterior, along with the dated mall beside to it, didn't make it our first choice for a hotel. Additionally, the place seemed to have a strong religious tone, which reminded me of a past news of a religious institution raided a hotel, asking elderly couples for proof of marriage. Despite our reservations, we decided to give it a try since our preferred hotel was fully booked. To our surprise, the stay turned out to be pleasant, especially due to the friendly staff. The room we stayed in was somewhat old, but we noticed that some painting and renovation work was underway

Grand drul makmur is always my favorite hotel whenever we drop by Kuantan for eastcoast road trip, i love the spacious room, the hospitality is awesome!

Alas, hotel is a rather aged, and there was notice that refurbuishment was in progress. Floor i was on was very deserted and actually was not a very comfortable feeling. As it was only for a single night, I did not bother to ask for a chnage.

Die Zimmer des Hotels sind riesig und gut eingerichtet. Das Hotel ist ausserlich ungepflegt. Leider ist Service im Restaurant abwesend. Es gab keine Kellner und man musste immer jemanden suchen.
