The location is good . It near to a lot of place , like telok cempedak, shopping mall , satezul also . Staff is friendly and willing to help . Breakfast is quite simple . I bought 3 days breakfast before I check in . But just eat 1day as it really simple . Everything would have been great except for the lack of and poor communication on the parking validation process. There was no prior communication on the validation process and we were told to simply swipe our credit card to get into the parking lot. At the reception desk, the man said not to worry because upon checking in, we were validated. He said when we check out, we would see that parking would be free as advertised. When we went out for dinner that night, we noticed that our credit card was charged at the parking gate. Upon returning, we talked to the same man and he again said we were already validated so there would be no charge. The next morning when we checked out, we talked to a different person at the reception desk. She explained that we had to get our card validated every time we exited the parking lot. Otherwise, there was an hourly charge and also a service fee assessed at the parking gate. We told her what the man said the night before; she apologized and said there was nothing she could do because he should have explained that we needed to validate again when we told him that we were heading out for dinner after we put away our luggage.

The Hotel was very well kept together and updated amenities. Family friendly with a great pool, not too big. The hotel itself was a little far from the Malls so it meant it wasn't as busy, but you have to take a taxi/Grab to get there since it's isolated.The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at AC Marriott Kuantan from 15/5 to 19/5/24. The front desk staff Jeff n his colleague from Myanmar Who served us when we chked in was friendly & helpful giving us a high floor n nice view room - a good start to our relaxed vacation. The rooms were clean n the bed was comfortable Our best experience was the service of Mr Sagir at the cafe where we had our daily breakfast. Mr Sagir, is an excellent worker who serves with a smile n has initiative. We saw how he was able to multitask getting coffee for guests n clearing used utensils for the guests. An excellent worker that needs to be rewarded n treasured. My wife n I really enjoyed our stay. We like to thank the hotel for making efforts to maintain the standards of The Marriott ‘Good Job’ 👍
