"First of all, BRELA is beautiful. It does not have a lot of tourist due to the fact there is no cruise ship port bus terminal or airport nearby. It feels very local. The restaurants along the beach walkway were amazing and easy to access from the hotel. The sauna was excellent. There was a small fee but well worth it. You must reserve ahead of time but you’ll have a lot of privacy the beaches out front our world class they are small pebble type beaches, but the water is so clear you can see 25 feet Highly recommend heading out to the right side or to the north to a couple of the beach, restaurants and bars as they have outstanding food and drinks steps from the water wasn’t too impressed with the food at the hotel great buffet breakfast, but I wouldn’t recommend eating dinner there not because it wasn’t good. There’s just so many great options down the beach that are right on the water. The hotel was super clean and had been recently refurbished. We will definitely stay there again."

"Wonderful property - we had the most amazing holiday here. We were warmly welcomed by Gordana and Ivo who looked after us so well, whilst also being very discreet. They made us so welcome and provided the most lovely charcuterie platter and meal on arrival. We were in and out of the immaculate swimming pool and lovely garden area all holiday. The beautiful old olive trees provided ample shade to eat outside and the pool was perfect with the most amazing view. The photos don’t do it justice!Inside the house is very comfortable, clean and incredibly well kitted out with every kitchen utensil you may need and loads of towels. A fabulous holiday home and exceptionally good value."

"It is great for a family style holiday, very relaxing. Everything is designed with family comfort in mind. We are thinking of bringing our friends with kids next time for a joint holiday! Our 3 and half year old daughter absolutely loved it! She had amazing time playing and making friends! Facilities are great there is loads to do for kids of all ages. The playroom and trampolines were an absolute hit for her! it makes it easier for parents to have a bit of down time at evening on the terrace. There is easy access to the beach with tiny pebbles and crystal clear water which we loved. Pool area is clean and wasn’t busy even on a cloudy day. We loved a snooze in the shade in the pine woods next to promenade on a slow afternoon. So peaceful and relaxing! Location of the hotel is great just a short walk to Makarska centre for exploring! Food was ok, there is something for everyone’s taste. I particularly liked a salad bar and healthy options. The pool bar has quality food, very tasty, it was quite a surprise, not something we expected for the standard pool bar! Room has been recently renovated, cleaned daily with loads of attention, quite basic but modern, new air con, TV, fridge etc., the only comment would be that beds could be more comfy with option for extra pillow. It was peaceful for sleeping. The staff were super nice and helpful, always ready to exchange a joke and so friendly! Highly recommended!"
