Good rooms, poor service.
Checked in with friends and booked 2 rooms. Asked them in advance about extra beds and twin beds in rooms but had to wait to get the rooms ready though we checked in late. Service was terrible though rooms are large and good. Had to make few calls to bring in towels etc. Booked with breakfast paid and then they gave us bill for breakfast and then had to show from my booking to clarify with them. The sad thing is even after knowing that their guest was not happy, no one seems to bother to say sorry!!! That made me write this.

pleasant stay with great breakfast
Rooms are good in size, views are decent. Location is very good, and breakfast is excellent. Staff is friendly as well. Would recommend for official or personal visits.

A decent place to stay in Kozhikode
A decent place to stay. We had issues with operating the elevator using the room key and ended up going up and down the floors.

The location in center of town is the best part. This is for those travelers who do not mind a brick and mortar building in a limited space; but you get peace and quiet; but outside is all pandemonium. Our room was spacious and excellent bed, shower, and security. Front desk needs to improve its service attitude. They do their work well enough; but will not do any additional help such as changing local currency into smaller denominations.

Its a gem of a restaurant. The only issue if any is that the hallways smell of smoke on the 11th floor. Great rooms, lovely service, great breakfast, snacks are easily available downstairs and the front desk went above and beyond! This is my second stay here and hopefully is going to be my place to stay every two years when i visit extended family in calicut.

Good location and clean room. Friendly staff and good service. Found the guest are mostly on business trip or traveling for work. I was visiting my childhood memories. Found little disturbing about breakfast Because I didn’t book thru R Avis I couldn’t get free breakfast even now bough I paid same rent for room . I was alone and a picky eater they could have been say yes. Not a good business decision.

Kozhicode, i början av Konsum.
Centralt i kozhicode (kalicut) mycket trafik på huvudgatan, men bra ljudisolerade rum. Stor frukostbuffé , med mest indiska rätter. Bra rumsservice , bra städning , mycket trevlig uppmärksam personal. Enda minustecknet var utresan , väntan på förbeställd taxi (45 min) på väg till flygplatsen, som tur var flyget försenat. Litet gym och liten pool. Bra wi-fi

The Raviz Calicut
The hotel is very good. It was all pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Restaurant offers good food and quick service. The whole staff is very courteous. I would love to stay here again.

Highly recommended!!
Location was great. Right in the middle town. Front desk staffs were helpful. The rooms were clean, bright and comfortable. Breakfast had the authentic kerala touch. Basically had a good stay.

Small issues force me to give it only 4 stars
Excellent hotel bang in the centre of town: only two issues i faced which force me not to call it outstanding: the hotel could not allot me a non-smoking room & i felt the room had the cigarette odour. Also, the parking is a good kilometre away & it just doesn't feel right though its fully secure etc. We drove in, so that is a niggle

Hotel is well-situated. Comfortable and breakfast buffet was, for the most part, good. Staff service is slow and you always need to remind them of your requests. Check out was particularly frustrating. They forgot where they kept my receipt and invoice. Almost missed my flight, I made it thanks to the hotel driver. Going back soon to Calicut, and I'm having second thoughts on whether I should have my third stay in that hotel.

Stay at Raviz, Calicut
The hotel is no doubt in the heart of the city but in a busy area. The hotel is somewhat cramped for space and I would not rate it as 5 star, as claimed.

Food and service excellent. Room is also spacious and good. Located in the center of the city and so accessible services like atm , travel agency, autos etc. Only negative is that Bathroom is slippery due to marble flooring and water seeping out of the shower area. we put towels on the floor to avoid slipping.
