The Pili Mai community is scenically situated alongside the Kiahuna Golf Course in Poipu, a quick stroll from Poipu Shopping Village (where you'll find live Hula dancing and Hawaiian music every Monday and Thursday night) and beautiful Kiahuna Beach. On the grounds are a number of wonderful amenities - a large family swimming pool, a semi-private spa, a private recreational village, a gathering pavilion, a barbecue pit, and verdant landscaping at every turn.

This ground-floor condo encompasses 1,576 square feet of living space, boasting central air conditioning, vibrant pops of color, and all the comforts of home. The open kitchen is fully equipped for the chef of the group, offering stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, bar seating for three at the island, and an adjacent dining table for four. This space seamlessly blends into the window-lined living room with its flatscreen TV, new furnishings, and sliding glass doors that lead outside to the lanai - the perfect spot to take in the pinks and purples of the sunset.

In the mornings, grab a boogie board, beach chairs, and cooler on your way out the door to the beach. When you return, a private washer/dryer will be waiting to refresh your bathing suits and towels. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Terrible Management, No Internet, Zero Accountability

This was by far the worst VRBO experience we’ve ever had. We reported the internet was broken just an hour after check-in, and Vacasa, the property manager, completely failed us. Day after day, they promised to send someone to fix it—but no one ever showed up. We spent our entire 5-day stay with no internet, no TV, and no communication unless we followed up ourselves. Vacasa clearly doesn’t care about the guests or the standards they’re supposed to uphold.To make things worse, we were falsely accused of harassing chickens on the property and even threatened with fines by the association. It felt like racial profiling, and when we sent proof that other guests were involved, Vacasa still did nothing. They never followed up, never apologized, and offered zero compensation. For how much we paid, this experience was a joke. Don’t book this place unless you want to be ignored, blamed, and completely let down.

Very nice place. Pool is really nice. Four beach chairs were clutch. Two bikes but the blue one has a slow leak in the tire and the chain slips. The back patio screen is rusted at the bottom. We just took it out of the track since it fell out when you try and slide it. Very nice place these are just small details that could use addressing. Would definitely be back if we return.

Spacious Condo

We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again. It is a very spacious condo; our family of four (my husband, our two children ages 16 and 19, and myself) all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. This was lovely, as was the AC and the close proximity to the pool. The beach was a 5 minute drive. We did all our own cooking and the kitchen is well stocked, just missing a vegetable peeler. The oven has a safety feature that is a bit of a nuisance. When you open the oven to check on the food, the oven turns off and will sometimes take as long as 20 minutes to turn back on. As well, the unit is stated to accommodate up to six people, but the furniture is only intended for four people - four chairs around a small kitchen table and the couch is rather small. The furniture is too small for the space - there could be a much larger dining room table with eight chairs, as well as a much larger couch. Some of the furniture (inside and outside) is looking rather worn. There was only one chair outside that was not covered with animal droppings (between both patios). It also would have been lovely to have 4 beach chairs; there were only two. Paint touches are needed throughout. The unit looks a little tired, but this did not take away from our wonderful stay. As stated, we would stay again.

Staycation

We took a mini staycation, and this property was perfect! There were three of us in our party and we each had our own room and bathroom! We were only there for two nights, and we really missed the property when we left. Our only feedback to improve is to fix the water sprinklers so they don't shoot onto the patio in the afternoon. We were sitting out there the first day and were sprayed with water when the sprinklers went on. Looks like this happens daily so the furniture out on the patio gets soak and wet every day. Otherwise, we'll definitely be back and will recommend to our family and friends.

Dream vacation

This was a perfect spot on the south side to enjoy a dream vacation with my daughters. Very nice, clean and spacious. One issue with not having access to beach supplies listed in description, but this was quickly addressed by the property manager. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and place!

The home was perfect for my husband & I and our son & his wife & 2 grandchildren. The kitchen was well equipped and the location was close to beaches, restaurants and shops. The pool in the community was fabulous as well. The front door had a combination lock that could be a little tricky - you had to pull the door gently forward in order for it to lock. Having the garage was great for dropping beach items. The bicycles were not in working order, but we didn’t need those. The one suggestion I tried to make to the management company (but never heard back) was that the chest dresser in the front bedroom needs to be secured to the wall. Our 3 year old grandson opened all the drawers and the entire unit fell forward. Luckily, he was able to run to the side and avoid being crushed. Very frightening. Other than that, I would recommend anyone to stay here!

Beautiful condo, big and spacious. Welcome gift was really nice and thoughtful. Had trouble opening the garage with the code but got immediate assistance which was very reassuring. Locations was the best. Property was safe, quiet, beautiful and perfect!!! Will be my go to for future trips.

Spacious and beautiful!

The condo was perfect for our stay on Kauai. We arrived late afternoon to a welcoming array of chocolates, cookies, and trail mix. It was nice to discover a filtered pitcher of cold water in the refrigerator. The beds were comfortable and the the living room space had comfortable seating. The location was perfect for accessing the entire island! Numerous places to eat were within a few minutes drive.

Excellent communication from host company. Unit was just as advertised and clean. Welcome treats were greatly appreciated. The only trivial complaint we had was there were only 3 dinner forks. There were a larger number of the smallest forks I’ve ever seen. I planned to just leave a note but didn’t have a pen. Would definitely stay again. Mahalo for sharing your unit with us.

All in one convenience

Couldn’t have asked for a more ideal location. Property and house amenities were perfect. Kids loved the pool. Location on island, was never too far from getting around for sightseeing. Definitely would stay here again!
