"Im großen und ganzen war der Aufenthalt sehr schön. Die Umgebung ist zauberhaft. Eine nahe Baustelle und schlechtes Wetter beeinträchtigten den Aufenthalt. Damit konnte man nicht rechnen. Der Gastgeber war gut erreichbar und kümmerte sich bei Problemen bzw. Nachfragen. "

"Nach kurvenreicher Anfahrt kamen wir in das urige Dörfchen Knobelsdorf. Die Fewo liegt in einem alten Haus, welches stark modenisiert ist und somit den Anforderungen an eine gute Fewo vollkommen genügt. Wir haben uns in der Fewo immer wohl gefühlt. In das Dorfleben wird man fast automatisch integriert. Fazit: mal wieder ein schöner und ruhiger Urlaub in der Fewo in Knobelsdorf."

"Wir sind sehr oft hier und da unterwegs, sehen daher allerhand Unterkünfte. Meist gut bewertet aber wenn man dann da ist, eher ernüchternd bis erschreckend. Ganz anders hier. Wir kennen die Gegend und haben Verwandte dort, entsprechend suchten wir etwas passendes an dieser wunderschönen Talsperre. Die Unterkunft war aus unserer Sicht einfach perfekt bei Preis und Leistung. Sauber ordentlich, viel Liebe zum Detail, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Absolute Empfehlung! "Schönes Ferienhaus für den kurzen Aufenthalt zu Zweit. Alles vorhanden was man für diese Zeit benötigt. Ideal für Paare die den Vorteil von zwei Duschen/WC nicht missen wollen. Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig und durchdacht. Der Vermieter hat fast alles für "vergessliche" in Vorlage bereitgestellt. Wlan wird auch bereit gestellt. In unserem Fall war das gut da das Mobile Netz sehr schwach an diesem Standort ist. Uns hat der überdachte Balkon besonders gefallen. Das Geläut der Kirche nebenan stört...

"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

"I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one ."

"Great hotel for a great price. Clean, modern, well equipped. Quadruple room was great for us and our two kids. Would love to have parking better marked as well as signs at the back entrance. We arrived after dark and it was a bit uncomfortable driving around back of the building, but once we found our way it was just fine. Would certainly stay here again!"
