Great stay

Great stay Ina stunning location. The rooms are perfect apart from the early morning noise from the corridor. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The pools have areas to relax or party. The beach is not a swimming beach.

We had an excellent stay at Vannee resort, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant staff were all excellent and they had attentive people. The spa was excellent and we enjoyed our stay in Koh Phangan.

Amazing atmosphere! Caring, kind and helpful staff. Breakfast has a lot of verity and everything is delicious. Quite area that is relatively close to a lot of main places of the island. Breath taking view and high quality facilities. The room is incredible with the largest bathroom I've ever seen.

Front desk staffs were amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was so so. The room lacks closet and shelving. The bathroom while very large is extremely badly designed with toilet tucked beside shower and shower with no enclosure.

The resort was beautiful. The service was good. It took a while to get drinks by the pool or beach. They also only allowed you to have one room key which meant you could not cool your room if you were not in it which is ridiculous. It was very hot. They have 4 pools and none were adults only. There were kids jumping all over including splashing water near my food and drink. At least one pool should be adults only and enforce it.

The pool area is awesome. The room we had did not have nightstands beside the bed, the air conditioning was underwhelming, the television didn’t work, we had no towels on arrival (after a substantial wait), and we found a razor blade under one of the decorative towels on the shelf. As I said great pool area and the drinks there were awesome. Bartender knew his stuff and made quality drinks. Food was good as well. But the quality and care of the room was very low for a property of this pedigree. I hope this is addressed for future guests.

Overall we had a good stay. The property is clean and the staff was accommodating. While the pool and access to the ocean was nice the resort food was mediocre at best. The biggest challenge was getting around the island, each time we wanted to leave our only option was a 600 baht private taxi or hoping the local shuttle service would arrive. We also asked the hotel staff about arranging a very early morning taxi ride and were assured this was possible, only to call and be told the morning of that no drivers were available. We ended up departing 1.5 hours after we needed to which was a bit frustrating.

The pool was nice and the hotel is pretty looking. However, there are only 2 pathways to get to all of the units. We were on the first floor and there was a constant stream of people (other customers, maids, security, etc) walking back and forth by our unit. No privacy whatsoever. You have a big glass window and everyone can see everything inside the room. Didn't like how busy our front "patio" was with staff and other customers constantly walking back and forth.

The staff took very long time to find our booking (c. 1h), but we were upgraded as a courtesy. The room was decent but didnt have a separate bathroom only a curtain separating the bathroom and bedroom. We didnt get any towels for the pool the first day as they were out. We booked bikes with the hotel but the day after (at the agreed time) we were informed that they didnt have any available for us. Overall the hotel premise is nice but they can improve service levels.

5 star resort with lots of stunning outdoor pools, sun bathing & seating areas. Overlooking the beach & sea, was walking distance to the local eating places & shops. We had an executive villa with a private plunge pool. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Huge king size bed and lovely bathroom with big bath & wet room shower. Downpoint was only a curtain separating the bathroom from the bedroom. We paid quite a bit for all inclusive but its actually better just to go for bed & breakfast as eating out or even at the resort with the British pound was quite cheap. The resort menu was limited, same for day & evening. Also venue took some time to honor the advertised and paid for all inclusive rate we had paid. All turned out fine in the end! Friendly, efficient staff and whole place kept very clean & tidy. Would definitely recommend this resort. Free shuttle to the ferry port was another plus!

The property was beautiful, especially at sunset. The pools were saltwater based and they were refreshing after a long day. Rooms were nicely decorated, beachy resort feel. Staff was sweet and welcoming. Great pool bar! A few items I want to mention for anyone considering staying here. When we booked our reservation via Expedia, we opted for the “pay when you arrive” option. Come to find, the property actually needs your method of payment on file prior to arriving. They don’t review their Expedia chat messages very often and are half a day ahead of the US, so it was difficult for us to get in touch. They also would not take payment over the phone, since the reservation went through Expedia. Luckily, they did not cancel our reservation but it was nerve racking for us until we checked in. When booking, you can request a king bed but it is not guaranteed. I booked travel 3 months in advance, requested a king and didn’t receive one. They accommodated us and created a make shift king with the 2 dbls, which was fine. Just know K beds are sometimes hard to come by! If you are on the bottom floor and have upstairs neighbors, be aware the floor boards creak and are thin. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our bottom neighbors came upstairs to inform us we were loud and “stomping around.” Just be thoughtful if you’re above anyone. Overall, we had a great time, and would stay here again.

Excellent stay, staff was very kind, friendly and professional, the restaurant serves exquisite food and the pool takes your breath away, rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you may need, magic! It is windy though and the bathrooms don’t have a door, that is a big downside.

Wonderful location, even if I made a mistake by not booking a room with a sea view. That would have been amazing. Staff amazing, very accommodating and friendly. Be careful by the pools side, dangerously slippery.

Room and hotel are clean and comfortable, The pool is really beautiful and the atmosphere is very pleasant. There was no water pressure in our shower, the maintenance people tried to fix the problem with no success. I must mention that they responded immediately and did their best to solve the problem. The reception staff offered us to change rooms, it was late at night so we gave out.
