Great stay
It was a gorgeous stay, will definitely come back as the room was super and the hosts were awesome. Can recommend it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Bollard House on Leisure Isle while traveling the Garden Route. Great location, other guests who seem to return often were helpful and welcoming as was our host Mike, who along with his staff served a delicious breakfast. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Easy to visit Plett, Robberg Nature Preserve, the Heads, and the Elephant Sanctuary. Wonderful stay!

Die Lage des Hotels und der Service waren sehr gut. Wirwürden hier mochmal einchecken.
Our stay was amazing,we had an amazing ocean view with fresh breeze in the morning. The owner was friendly and welcoming and breakfast was amazing.i will definitely re-visit the place
Some excellent points, some things not so good. Great value for Leisure Island, excellent position. Good breakfast. The Managers (nice couple) do not live on site, in fact no staff at night. There were power cuts in the dark of an evening but no provision had been made for these, not even a torch provided. When the Managers appeared in the morning their response was "Oh, we did not have a power cut where we live". It had a kitchen in the room but absolutely no crockery or cutlery etc. On a minor point, no coathangers at all. Overall a good place to stay on Leisure Island but with some drawbacks.
From the moment we arrived to the time we left we were treated exceptionally well in this truly fantastic guest house.Sara and Mike are fantastic hosts with facilities to match.
The accommodation was outstanding, the location must be one of the best on the whole of the Garden Route. It was a real privilege to look out over the bay and take in its beauty.
It has two pools, one at the front and one at the back, a lot of outside space, shaded and unshaded. Breakfasts were served inside and outside ad were extremely good.
This is a prime example of South African hospitality and we will certainly try to go back.
