"Staff was VERY friendly, room was big and clean. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms get quite warm in summer. With a heatwave on the room was 35 degrees late at night. But cannot fault the hotel for that ;)."

"Beautiful old hotel well situated in the beautiful town of Ludlow Shropshire! Room was clean and staff were welcoming and helpful! Restaurant was lovely with great choices for breakfast and also had a lovely dinner! Parking is secure although can get full quickly! There are other close options for parking! Only other comment I would make that there were a lot of stair to get to my room so may not be suitable for disabled! There is a lift but still quite a few stairs to get to my room! There may be ground floor options for disabled but I didn’t need it so was fine for me! There were even some stairs up to the toilet in the bathroom! All in all a great hotel in a very good location! Would definitely stay again!"

"Very friendly staff and well maintained hotel, the room was clean but a bit noisy. Room 4 was a bit noisy as the kitchen was below and we had to have the windows open, we were only staying the one night so didn’t complain. We had eat in the restaurant on Monday evening and had a very pleasant time good food and a drink outside on the patio."

We were put in a top floor room on a very hot day despite being told that the hotel was quiet so they could have found a cooler room for us. The staff were not concerned about our comfort. As in nearly every hotel room, there was nowhere to put our toiletry bags."

"My wife and I both agreed that the overnight stay we had there was very good, everything you could have wanted was there, the bed was lovely and the room was spot on. The next morning we went down to the restuarant and to an excellent breakfast. All in all we would have no hesitation in staying there again."
