Situated on an elevated lot with fantastic ocean views, C And Sky is a charming 4-bedroom cottage with coastal touches and updates throughout, plus a location that can't be beat. The bright and airy great room features an open-concept layout and plenty of windows to maximizes the ocean views. The kitchen includes a large island with bar seating that overlooks the living area, perfect for mingling with family and friends even while preparing meals. You'll have plenty of space for outdoor living too, with a sun deck on the front of the house for watching the sunrise and enjoying the ocean breeze, and another on the back of the house overlooking the pool area below. Downstairs, the covered ground level provides plenty of shade along with all the amenities you'll need for a beach vacation, including an outdoor shower, hot tub and grilling area. When you're not at the beach, take advantage of the private pool for around-the-clock fun and relaxation without leaving the house. Beyond the pool is a spacious backyard for playing games or just letting the kids run around.

C And Sky is nestled in the quaint community of Carolina Dunes, located just a mile north of downtown Duck. This peaceful, residential neighborhood provides guests with multiple beach accesses, as well as access to the sound for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. C And Sky is just a short walk to the beach access at the end of Sprigtail Drive, just three lots south of the house.

No pets allowed - pet free. No smoking/vaping. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates.

Priorities for our honeymoon rental.... See and hear the ocean from the property, short walk to the public beach access, a private pool, and a hot tub. This property hit all the marks. That being said we had to have numerous things addressed. Ants in the kitchen, most of the jets not operating in the hot tub, multiple lightbulbs out or flashing in both bathrooms, bathroom sink almost completely clogged, clothes dryer inoperable, front door lock needed batteries and lubricant, missing a ceiling fan remote, and most of the TV remotes had dead batteries. The realty company was quick to respond with an exterminator and a hot tub tech. When maintenance came a couple days later I showed them the rest of what was wrong since they were there. All concerns were addressed including a new clothes dryer. The house was worth the price we paid, but could use a refresh in some areas in the off season. A brief maintenance sweep in between renters or people calling things in when they happen would have made this review sound a lot better because we really enjoyed the house.

We had mixed feelings about the location; while we loved having easy access to the beach, pool and jacuzzi, we were disappointed by the rusty bathroom fixtures and mold around the air vents in both the bathroom and bedroom.

Great cottage, great location!

Roomy cottage for the 6 of us and a 1 year old. Perfect location. Very short walk to beach access, which is where the lifeguard stand is as well. Clean pool to relax in after long hot day on the beach. Hot tub was nice to have as well. The cottage had everything we needed, other than 1 or 2 stove top pans that should be replaced and small ant issue. We would definitely consider coming back next year! Great family vacay spot, for sure!

Missing that personal touch, but a great vacation nonetheless..!

The property is maintained by contractors. The benefits are that a quick response to a repair issue that came up, and the property has been cleaned in a very regimented way. The downsides would be it takes the guest noticing things are awry with the property and mentioning them or else the property management would never know. The example I will give is this: the fridge water filter was expired when we arrived*, the pool skimmer was busted and unusable*, one of the closet doors had fallen off its hinges*, a few of the outlets weren’t working* so as a result one of the televisions would not turn on, someone had squashed bugs against the wall behind the couch and left the gooey entrails to dry there, and there were decorative figurines of ducks in the dining area whose beaks had all been snapped off and the broken beaks were sitting on the selves beside them. Obviously not a single one of these things are a big deal, but you can see how when you have contracted out the maintenance and cleaning of the house, things can get overlooked. No one thinks, “let me check the walls to see if there’s guts all over them” when doing a routine clean. We did contact the management to resolve all of the (*) and they fixed everything right away except for the closet door. We got some glue ourselves and repaired the ducks ourselves. We also cleaned the bugs. :-)Hot tub, pool, and easy access to beach. Great property. Sleeps 10 great. But only seats 6 at the table. We’d go here again.

Cozy, well stocked house right off beach

This house was wonderful! From the well stocked kitchen, to the pool supplies and baby supplies (bed rails, booster seat, sturdy deck gates), this house is well equipped for a family. The dining room only seats 6 but with some manipulating, 2 living room chairs can make it seat 8. The master bedroom is spacious, beach access very close by and the AC works great. The pool and hot tub was great but the decks need work to prevent nails and wood from tearing at your feet or your babies legs. Overall, great house!

Our first but not last OBX vacation

We traveled to Duck NC with our 4 and 1 year old and were very happy with the location and the rental property. The pool was great when the kiddos needed a break from the beach and the beach was literally just a few minute walk across the street. Hearing the ocean waves at night from the from porch was just what my husband and I needed after the kids went to bed. The house is as roomy and clean so we had no complaints. We cooked dinner almost every night and prepared lunches for our days outs and the kitchen had everything we needed. Only remarks is to bring extra toilet paper and large trash bags.

Just what we needed

Location was super close to public beach access, no trouble at all for our kids ages 4, 5, 6. Everything was comfortable and functional. Would definitely stay again.
