「Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+」

「Gemma and David were very welcoming and answered all our questions quickly. The location is stunning. The cottage is a great size, plenty of space and is very comfortable. Things like handsoap, washing up liquid, toilet roll etc are all provided. Lovely to have the log fire too and also a firepit in the garden which is fenced off and secure for the dog. Just a short walk to the hermitage trail and on to Dunkeld. You would be hard pushed to find such a great accommodation in such a beautiful...

「We had a sisters weekend at the lodge. The lodge was very pretty and fantastic view. The cabin its self could do with a deep clean (we had to get the duster out to remove some cobwebs before we went to bed) and the glasses needed a wash, but thats not too bad. Maybe a heads up on the road surface to the cabin would be an idea as my car is quite low and I grounded out with a scrape a couple times. But relaxing in the hot tub looking at that view was fantastic after a day sightseeing. 」

「Great place to explore the nearby areas (Pitlochry, Dunkeld). We needed a space for 4 and a Bernese Mountain dog and it was a good size. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Once we figured out the heating system, it was all good. Would happily come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the BBQ.」

「What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! 「A lovely, quiet place to stay just a short walk into the village of Braemar. The bonus is that you can walk to the trailheads of two great hikes, one up Morrone and one up Creag Coinnich. The house is well-equipped with comfortable couches and good reading lights (so many houses seem to think no one ever reads!) The one bed we stayed in was very comfortable and the shower water hot! We totally enjoyed staying here. (Not a negative, just a note: the staircase to the second floor is quite steep.)...

「Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. The cottage is in a peaceful location and had the benefit of woods behind it that we could walk our dogs. Although the garden is enclosed it isn't...
