"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"We had a wonderful week, based at Jessamine cottage, with helpful communication from the owner.Everything that we needed was provided, as well as a very generous welcome hamper. "The access is made through a side door entrance. A grey looking corridor leads you to 1st floor flat. Great entrance with comfy corner chair facing a shoe rack. "Ballathie is in a lovely setting. We awoke to a beautiful, sunny spring morning and had a stroll round the gardens before heading off home after breakfast. The day before, we'd had a delicious meal in the dining room. Room was good, bar was cosy, all in all a very nice place. "

I was made to feel I was the inconvenience. Dining rm thinks meal is between half 7 & half 9. Desk needs to be accurate b/cI would have preferred an 8:30 arrival for some berries!"

"Couldn’t fault our stay here. It’s beautiful. Perfect location for exploring the area, we visited Inverness Dundee and sterling and the nearby waterfalls the hermitage and black spout. Lots of information about the local area to read and guided by the lovely staff. All polite and knowledgeable. Accommodation spotless with high quality soaps and shampoo. Short walk to Pitlochry and local co-op. Daily breakfast was a delight so much to choose from, spoilt for choice. Hubby loved daily homemade porridge with whisky..no way he’s getting that at home. Plan to revisit later on in the year as so much left to see and do. Thank you so much. Four night stay not long enough for us."
