First time we stayed here in March water went away for 4 hours. We are back and they installed a backup system. These folks care about giving the guest a good experience and it shows. We will go back next year.

My biggest problem with the property was the water . And may i suggest that the owners consider putting in another ac unit in the living area or even ceiling fans. Other than these the unit in good location very private secure quite. Will stay again

The is our 4th time staying here. Normally I don't book on Expedia but this time I got a deal on hotel and airline. When I asked the Expedia agent for this property specifically, he asked if I was sure I want this one. When I asked why he told me the reviews are not good. When I arrived and asked the Jennifer - the wonderful old lady who operate the business - why she have bad online reviews, she just shook her head. Well here is the truth about this property. It is a very lovely peaceful and quiet one bedroom apartment. It is not smack dead in the city, it is a 5-7 minutes taxi ride from New Kingston and perfect if you are like me and don't want to be in city center but close to it. At the moment of the review (Jan 2018) most of the roads in Kingston have been dug up by the government. Kingston is undergoing a major road renewal government program. There is water problems all over Kingston even at the major hotels. The apartment have some tanks at the front of the apartment. We did not have water issues but Jennifer indicated if the government keep water off for more that 5 days she will have to truck water to fill the tanks. As far as I can see, this is a Kingston problem. This is a nice apartment, one of our favorite, therefore I felt like I needed to give it a honest review to let everyone know whats up. Jennifer, is an amazing host and until my husband move to the states we will continue to book this apartment.

The property is slightly off the beaten path. Upon arriving was giving a lock code for the punch lock from door, the code reset and I was locked out for over an hour, unable to reach the in country or U.S. property contacts. There was absolutely no water in the unit for the 1st 24 hours. After that the water pressure was basically non-existent, this was blamed on recent construction in the street but no communication was made during booking or subsequently after. The orbitz site stated the daily fees would be collected at "check-out" but this was demanded up front. Stayed in jamaica multiple times and this is by far the worst experience i've had. Despite them knowing all the issues they made no accommodation to modify the cost or fees charged. Sub-par based on price and accommodations.

We arrived at night and did not see the beauty of this gem. To be honest we were thinking about checking out and finding something closer to the Embassy. We were pretty impress in the morning we decided to stay and it was a good decision. Very thing was close thought the US Embassy was a 10 minutes ride. The manage was very helpful and the apartment very much above standard and highly recommendable.

Very nice stay at Eclipse. The pre-arrival communication was very good. We knew just want to expect on arrival and check-in was a breeze. Jennifer, the manger was professional and greeted us with a smile. The security Steve was very helpful in helping is to secure a drive to take us around town. The one bedroom apartment was very well put together. The area very upscale and close to shopping etc. I would book this on again.

Very Nice Apartment

As see on the website and as advertised. Jennifer the manager was always prompt to reply to emails, whatsapp messages and calls, they accommodated all our special requests. Fantastic central and quiet location. New & clean building. Starter items and snacks provided at arrival was a nice touch. Great place to stay for business trip, everything as listed and no issues my entire stay. Hope it's available when I come back.

VERY NICE APARTMENT AND HELPFUL STAFF

Very nicely decorated and comfortable apartment. It he area was very quiet and secure. Steve, the guard was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Jenny, the manager is a very nice elderly lady who was very professional and gave us a nice island welcome, she was very patient and waited on us after three different delays. The apartment was central to restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, ATM, Western Union and a few other essentials. We enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend this modern one bedroom apartment.

THERE WILL ALSO BE HIDDEN FEES THAT WERE NOT DISCLOSED DURING YOUR RESERVATION....OWNER IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND AFTER A HEATED ARGUMENT I STORMED OUT OF THE PLACE UNABLE TO GET MY MONEY BACK. OWNER IS AN EXTORTIONIST WHO WILL SEND YOU A WHATSAPP MESSAGE THAT INCLUDES ALL THE HIDDEN FEES AFTER YOU ALREADY BOOKED AND IT IS TOO LATE TO CANCEL. I WAS FORCED TO LEAVE THE PLACE AND GO ONLINE FROM A HOTEL TO BOOK ANOTHER HOTEL WHILE BEING IN A COUNTRY I DID NOT KNOW. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE WAS SO MISTREATED. This is a must stay!!!

The place was great. Very spacious, exactly as pictured, clean, modern, quiet complex, and safe with the security. No issues at the complex at all. The host was available when needed and I really didn't need anything. I would definitely rent the place again and recommend this place as well

The Future of Guest Housing! - Home Away From Home

Our stay at Eclipse Suite Guest Apartments was amazing, classy, and sophisticated. Internet and telecommunications were on par with the best off ISP services. Very clean, private, and secure location. Would recommend this guest housing anytime - It was superb and surpassed expectations.

The staff associated with Eclipse was personable and professional. If one wants an alternative to a traditional hotel stay and doesn't mind preparing a few of your own meals. If you are going to be in Jamaica for anything beyond a couple of days, this is the way to go, particularly if you have family or business ties to the Island.

Very nice place I came to do my son's funeral so I was in and out so not much time to stay there just need a place to sleep. They where little ants running around on the floor I call right and someone came to take care of it. If I come back I would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends. I just wish it was a little closer if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle definitely the place to stay very quiet and peaceful.

Gorgeous Condo A+, A Must See

I booked this condo last minute and to my pleasure was greeted upon check in with compliementary red stripe beer. My stay was short and sweet. I had all the necessary amenities and was comfortable during my stay. Steve (security) was awesome and assisted in making my stay wonderful. This place is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. The complex is gated and appears to be well secure. Security is always available to answer questions about the area and surroundings and was helpful in finding us a reliable driver to tour the city. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, Clean Condo Home Away from Home

This condo came highly recommended from friends of mine and I was glad I took their advice. As a person who normally stays a hotels, I had no regrets staying here. The condo staff was very friendly and accommodating and the home-like atmosphere was comforting. I had everything to my comfort and it was really close to all amenities. I'll be back for sure!
