The view was very nice even though the lake was quite low due to the annual draining. The house was relatively clean, but it was old and could benefit from some nice updating, including kitchen appliances. Several of the lights did not work, and there were no towel hangers in the master bath. We had to wash one set of the bed sheets which were covered in black animal hair. We stayed in November, and the lower part of the house was cold and drafty. The oversized furniture in the living room was hard to walk around safely. But the biggest drawback to this property is the very steep driveway, which had a hairpin turn, making it extremely dangerous in the dark. Not a place that I would rent again.
