「Total gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. 」
「Cathy is a super host! She made us feel very welcomed. The property is very cute. Her breakfast offerings are fantastic. We had a faux pas with the guest washing machine and she graciously assisted late in the evening and had our laundry back to us by morning. 」
「This place was so cute. I only stayed for one night but I wish I had stayed longer. Very clean and cute. You could tell a lot of love and care had been put into the decor. Everything felt cozy and homey. They even had coffee and cookies available in the room. And they provided a little binder full of hiking spots, restaurants, and things to do nearby which was very helpful. If I ever come through this town again o will definitely stay at Madeline’s. 」

「Avalon House is top notch! It felt like a cozy inn. It was very clean, had excellent staff/service, and included free and easy onsite parking. Breakfast was excellent, as was the pub/bar area. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.」

We were in a room next to the pub so we didn’t have any noise except from guests using the hot tub and they quieted about 930.
Only issue we had was it was warm so we wanted the windows open but the staff used the space by our window as a smoking area. We were able to open after they left for the night.
Small nice kitchen with convenience store across the street that had basic groceries for all meals. 」
「Truly loved staying here, definitely regret not staying more than one night! Loved the castle, the carriage rooms, and the grounds were spectacular. Golfing was fun and all the staff were very nice. Food was great too! Would recommend travellers to stay here for a few days and enjoy the beauty!」
