Summary:
BookSmart Properties presents: The Salty Pug! Located on the bay and completely remodeled for 2025, this home is packed with amenities. Enjoy stunning views from the spa, prep snacks or drinks in the downstairs kitchenette, and cook full meals in the fully stocked upstairs kitchen. When it’s time to wind down, retreat to one of the four cozy bedrooms. Start your morning with coffee on the screened-in porch as the sun rises with you.
The Space:
The Salty Pug spent the winter and spring closed for complete renovation. Summer of 2025 guests are the first to stay at the all new Salty Pug! It is a newly remodeled bayfront home that offers lovely water views, a fresh interior, and access to a community pool. The bay is nice and shallow right with a sandbar 50 feet out from the house, which is perfect for kiddos to splash and play while parents relax in chairs onshore. If you wanted to leave the property, there is a sand area near the community pool as well as a community beach. From the brand new interior to the family friendly exterior, you will want to plan your stay at The Salty Pug this year!

**Per HOA guidelines and local laws, the guests making the reservation must be at least 23 years old and be present during the entire duration of the stay. For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 23. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.**
**Up to two dogs are welcome for a $150 pet fee that will be added to your reservation**

- 4-minute drive to Higher Grounds - Coffee & Ice Cream
- 5-minute drive to Colington Pizza Beer and Grill
- 3-minute drive to Outer Banks Specialty Baskets

The exact property address will be sent to you with the check-in instructions so you can easily plan your travels.
Other Things to Note:
Home to the famous first flight by Wilbur and Orville Wright, Kill Devil Hills is a beautiful and family-friendly town in the Outer Banks. You can visit the Wright Brothers Memorial and see the hill where the flight occurred, shop local businesses, or spend the day on the beautiful OBX beaches!
Payment Schedule:
50% due at confirmation
50% or remaining balance due 30 days before check-in
The following violations may be subject to fines of up to $150: unregistered pets, late departure without approval by host, & house left excessively messy.
The outdoor shower at the property is not functional.
The home is stocked with a starter supply of paper products and toiletries to get going, but it is recommended that you bring or purchase more to last for the duration of your stay.
High speed Wifi is an amenity that is provided at the property but we cannot guarantee functionality for issues that are beyond our control. Potential Wifi outages will always be handled in a timely manner and resolved to the best of our ability. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed that our solutions will fix the issue and refunds will not be given for Wifi malfunctions.
Interaction with Guests:
