Property was great for all of us including our two senior dog's!!!! Extremely cozy home in great neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Overall a great stay. There were somethings that could have been better. The sound bar on the downstairs tv wouldn’t stay connected to the tv. After trying multiple times we just gave up. The ice maker wasn’t working so we had to go buy bags of ice and the dishwasher left much to be desired. We ended up washing most of the dishes by hand because it wasn’t working properly. When we entered the home, all you could smell was moth balls so we had to get some air fresheners to make it more enjoyable. The space for 7 girls and a dog was great. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and the dining set up was great for meals and game nights. The front porch was gorgeous for our photo ops and the weather was perfect. Would recommend but I would definitely say there is a need to get some things fixed and in order after paying what we did for a 4 day-3 night stay. Also the storm door doesn’t close properly so we had to lock it every night so it didn’t slam in the wind.

A beautiful place! We thoroughly enjoyed the house. It was perfect for our size family, and the kids loved the game room. Having three bathrooms plus an outdoor shower was a plus, and we loved hanging out on the spacious front porch.

King bed support beams not connected. Mattress droops at head and middle. Needs to be fixed!

Very nice property. Lots of activities to do in the house with the family. Needs a can opener for cans of food. Clean and well maintained except for king bed under support beams broken. Did not look until leaving. Thank you!

Really enjoyed the spacious area of the house. Quiet neighborhood..beds were a little uncomfortable and no curtains to keep sunlight out in the mornings which is just a personal preference but other than that awesome place to stay really enjoyed our stay.

Nice, relaxing place

Poppi’s Place was the perfect size and location for our family’s first trip to the Outerbanks. We particularly enjoyed the screened porch area, proximity to public beach access, and convenient access to stores and entertainment. This place has everything you need for a home away from home. Beds were also comfy- which is a plus.

Great family reunion house

We had an amazing time at this place! Perfect setup for our 12 family members. Although it is not on the beach it was a very short walk/drive to it and many things nearby to do! Great communication with the owner and very quick responses. Was even understanding when our French fries smoked up the house and caused the alarm company to call them! Great place!!

Spring time get away

Family getaway

we loved staying with our family over NYE weekend. We felt safe and at home while celebrating a new year, having more than enough to keep us entertained inside the house. Great stay, would definitely recommend or rebook

Perfect house for a softball tournament weekend!

We rented this amazing house with another softball family. The house had everything we needed and more. The game room was a perfect addition for the kids to pass the time! The owner was also amazing and easy to communicate with.We will definitely come back.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay

My husband and I enjoyed our stay while visiting OBX. Check in process was easy, house was clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. We’re thankful to have found a pet friendly place that allows well behaved dogs since we like to bring ours along when we travel. The nature preserve nearby was another convenience; great for taking walks. I highly recommend staying here!

Quick Weekend for a Family Wedding

We are complete newbies as far as the house rental thing and didn’t know how accurate the listing compared to the actual house would be. Let me just say, we were delighted! Check in was easy and convenient. We had a fresh delivery of linens waiting for us and a beautiful, clean house. There were 10 of us (2 didn’t make it), but even if everyone had been able to stay, we had more than enough room. The neighborhood was very quiet but close to everything! We enjoyed the porch whenever we had a break. Poppi’s Place has set the bar very high for any other house we may rent from here on out. We will definitely come back! The Mosses
